You probably have not tried newer version of Sanwei CC. Very good blade, one of the best till 20$ I would say.

Second Sanwei CC, very good blade for the price. I would avoid Yinhe T8s as it is too fast for a beginner, and choose blue version instead of red for the same reason.

Personally, I would advise you to buy Friendship 729 Cross. You cant go wrong with them. Dirt cheap, have a lot of control and decent kick when you add power. There were my first rubbers when I started training with coach and I can vouch for them.

I think it happened because film doesn't fully cover the top sheet. Around the edges of the racket there might be high spots. Like in the photo
