I think looking at the points, Xiang Peng's behavior is totally within the lines as well and pilgrim's position has merit. It's just not optimal.
  2. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Of course you are entitled to your opinion. It doesn't make it a good one. Fairness is a huge part of table tennis, especially since many competitive matches are played without umpires, and even when an umpire is present, there is a lot of stuff they cannot pick up given the speed and tight...
  3. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

No changes to the match. It would be fascinating to do an experiment where Jang was raised in China and we see how his game turned out (Chinese coaches always say this about the top Nigerians lol). You don't get players as fast as Jang growing on trees. He ans An might very well have been...
  4. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Jang Woojin is making Xue Fei look like an amateur. More convinced than ever that Harimoto has undisclosed issues. Though to be fair, the 1-0, 5-1 point was ridiculously good. Could change the match...
  5. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

She couldn't read the no spin chop at all. It was embarrassing in game 4.
  6. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

  7. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Two steps back for him is not enough unless he gets a predictable ball. Most players take more than two steps even Feliz is playing back further. Ultimately he needs to find a distance where he can play positive strokes. But he was not able to do it today. But he has done it before and will...
  8. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

The match point as well is worth watching. Togami's shot selection is very interesting. As with all things, work in progress!
  9. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

It's not the reflexes but the stubbornness to stay close to the table and therefore lack the time to switch and hope that the opponent will not aim so well he cannot block. If he is injured like I think he is, that is what is causing it, you can see in game 6 of the Wang match, he really...
  10. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

It was a very close match, dominating might not be the right word, but he wasn't bullied on the forehand for sure, it felt very often like Togami though he could just hit winners there but when it turned into a rally after some of those "winners", Togami was often caught off balance.
  11. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

I think it was after /during the last match with Wang. Ever since then he has gone back to his old game and has been slow again, even at the last tournament before this. He can beat some people playing that way but not the best or tactically aware Asians. Hopefully he will heal enough soon...
  12. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

I am biased towards it, just trying to be fair to people who see it differently.
  13. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

    Oh Sangeun.
  14. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Its a two winged forehand though, not the typical big Korean step-around-and-murder-you forehand.
  15. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

She played the way someone who is taking their best chances exactly should play. Took some risk to disrupt Wang's game and the probabilities worked out in her favor. Of course. Wang's inconsistency will be a part of the discussion but I think anyone watching the match would be very impressed...

  17. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

The win is clearly the result of a lot of hard work. Good for her.
  18. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Diaz has lost a lot of size to my eyes.
  19. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

He looks injured in a weird way, but I suspect he will push through until the tour slows down.

The EJ Bug persists - the next target is the Cybershape Wavy. The main benefit of the Cybershape is that it suits my natural grip way better than other blades because of the handle length and wings. so I will give it a shot and see how it goes.
