  1. Timo Boll ALC vs Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC?

Tried both blades with Dignics 05 backhand and Dignics 09c forehand. For me personally the Timo Boll ALC felt harder to do soft short pushes and lifting backspin, but it was easier to do sharp attacks and smashes. With Ovtcharov it was the opposite. I struggled with smashes but it was easier to...
  2. Blades for short pimples

My friend uses thick OFF balsa blades with short pips on both sides and is very happy with the combo. I tried it also and noticed how light the racket is, allowing me to swat the ball easily and play fast pace exchanges close to the table.
  3. Feeling difference between Rasanter R47 and R48?

Thank you for the link. Strange that this didn't pop up as one of the recommendations while I was submitting the title.
  4. Most amount of edge balls recorded in a single game?

Hi all, I want to know what is the world record of most consecutive edge balls in a single table tennis match? My personal record is 3 edge balls in a row. My opponent told me to go F myself after that (with a smiling face).
  5. Feeling difference between Rasanter R47 and R48?

Hi everyone, I want to know how big of a difference does 1 extra hardness give. Has anyone played both R47 and R48 that could give their thoughts on the experience with both rubbers? I also wonder why there's 47, 48 and 50 degrees, but no 49 version :D
  6. Playing in cold halls

For me the problem is humidity in warm areas everyone sweats and this makes my rubbers moist I have to wipe them after every point.
  7. Alternative to Dignics 09C

What blade was he using? I tried G09c on Viscaria and it was decent. Maybe on Sardius it can be dangerous
  8. Upgrading from 7 ply to carbon. Feedback please

You can't have more feeling with carbon blades as they reduce the vibration on impact. If you want a more softer touch, then the easier way would be to swap your Z1 with softer Z2 rubbers. For more spin, a hybrid (semi-tacky) rubber like Donic Bluestar A2 or A3 would help with RPS while staying...
  9. Dignics 64 vs Dignics 05

I tried now both D64 and D05. D64 has a lower arc and more length than D05. In theory D05 is safer to loop against backspin. Though for FH I would suggest D09c because it has that nasty propulsion after touching opponent's table. Or Glayzer 09c if you want more control and don't mind longer rallies.
  10. TTD Team KNOCKOUT Tournament 2025

Congrats on the victory, Dane. Otto would be proud of your backhand.
  11. What rubber should i consider after playing with Rozena?

Did you try it on another blade or your blade? You might like it on a different blade, it's just a matter of discovering the right combination. I believe any rubber and any blade can work for a play if paired correctly. But ofc it takes a lot of time and experimentation.
  12. What rubber should i consider after playing with Rozena?

If you are after durable rubbers go Zyre 03 2.7 FH and Zyre 03 2.5 BH. Jokes aside, just get new Rozena if it works for you and you have no complaints. New rubbers will give you more speed and spin than your outdated ones, while keeping a similar feel.
  13. Inner / outer carbon hybrid blades?

Hi all, are there any blades that have inner ( 2x wood + carbon) construction on one side and outer ( wood + carbon + wood) construction on the other side? I like FH looping with innerforce blades, but for BH attacks I prefer outerforce ones. A hybrid inn/out blade like that would benefit my...
  14. Dignics 05 backhand alternative

Wait until Butterfly releases Zyre 05 ;)
  15. Dignics 05 backhand alternative

Have you tried dignics 09c? If it's too slow, you can use one layer of booster.
  16. Outer ALC Blade paired with medium rubber?

Sounds like a fun aggressive looping playstyle on Strad. I will give it a try if I manage obtain this rubber.
  17. Outer ALC Blade paired with medium rubber?

Wow that's fast. I tried R48 on Stiga Cybershape AR classic and it felt very bouncy like MX-P. I had to tilt my racket uncomfortably forward to play accurately close to the table.
  18. Outer ALC Blade paired with medium rubber?

I tried strad too with MX-P hard on BH and MX-D on forehand. With the edge tape on it was okay, but once I removed it, the speed was too much. Is omega IV tour a springy tensor like T05 / MX-P ?
  19. Outer ALC Blade paired with medium rubber?

Speed is subjective. There are players who find MX-P on Primorac Carbon too slow and those who think yasaka sweden classic with rakza 7 soft is a speed demon. What is the fastest combination you tried and what you didn't like about it?
  20. I Challenged Strawberry Master Romain Ruiz!

As a table tennis addict, I like hybrid rubbers because they exhaust me faster so I don't need to play for 6 hours straight.
