  2. REvolution no.3 Cleaner

Just use distilled water and a sponge, keep it simple. All these cleaners are basically a marketing gimmick

It definitely is sticky, not sure what you are talking about. I had plenty of Hurricane 3s and for me, with proper care, they maintained their tack till the end of their lifespan. Obviously it wasn't as strong as out of the package, but enough for the rubber to do it's thing

About new Hurricane 3s, they are all fine, at least personally. It's an acquired taste and I don't plan to ever change it for forehand
  5. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

That’s fair. Thank you. I’ll post an update when I’ve got the technique more "tamed" and a more consistent set going. Appreciate the engagement up to now
  6. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

Thank you for your comment. I will post more in the future, I'll keep the thread updated, I just need some time for everything to settle and engrave the technique into my body

I appreciate the thoughtful reply. I see where you’re coming from — the traditional progression of "build stability first, then layer on power and explosiveness" makes sense in many cases. I just don’t fully agree that developing dynamic movement awareness early is the same as trying to "run...

I appreciate your perspective and background. My request wasn’t about questioning your credentials — I simply believe that showing is often more effective than telling, especially in technical discussions, not to mention table tennis. Since you seem quite experienced, it’d actually be valuable...
  9. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

Interesting take — though it feels like you're disregarding a lot of nuance here. Perhaps you could share a clip of yourself performing a realistic and sustainable forehand loop 10–20 times in a row? That might help me visualise as well as understand your point of view better

Yes, you're right, need to work on many things, however, I found this to be my main concern for now. I am obviously not ready yet, I takes time to engrave a technique, but I will keep this thread updated and your comment in mind - I'll record one in the future 👍
  11. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

Well, I completely agree on it - an actual game is way different than that of a usual training session. But all does it need is just adaptation, no? It will come with more training and extensive match play, I mean I haven't even been playing for 2 years
  12. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

Haha 😂 Seems like we are almost on the same page. Although I am not "copying" blatantly and in empty way. I actually been observing and analysing why and how it should be done - feeling of explosivess, timing, correct use of the body. The stroke looks pretty clean already, tested also, so I am...
  13. Finally grasped the essence of table tennis biomechanical principle Chinese style! (Chain reaction of power from the ground) (UPDATED AGAIN)

How and why is it unsustainable/unrealistic? May you please elaborate? Thank you in advance. I indeed got spoon-fed that shot, however, isn't that how one is supposed to start to engrave habits and get a feeling for it? Already managed to execute a few times during a game, so I do not see how...

  15. SDC Handmade Blades

I see, that's interesting. Thank you for explanations, and satisfying my curiosity, of course 🙂 I am definitely no blade maker, so thank you once again. Keep up the great craftsmanship!
  16. SDC Handmade Blades

I didn't want to come off as arrogant nor did I sense any arrogance from you, thank you very much. To clarify, I wasn't really going anywhere with the question, I was simply curious. Yes, I certainly didn't go through all of your catalogue, was simply making an assumption from some short...
  17. SDC Handmade Blades

Another beautifully made blade - I have yet another question - I noticed that most, a very great portion, of your blades are honestly really heavy, one of the heaviest you can find, I'd dare to say. Is there a reason for that or...? Pairing them with heavy rubbers, Chinese let's say, would...
