  1. Finally tested Spinsight - What helped you to increase spin in your game?

One of my clubmates brought a Spinsight setup to our facility yesterday. I had the brief opportunity to try it out, and had very similar results to when I tested it at WTT Frankfurt: about 125 rps on forehand, about 110 rps on backhand I am hovering around 1600ttr, I think my spin values are...
  2. New FH Rubber (Glayzer, Fastarc G1, Omega VII Pro)

I agree with most of your points, well said. But imo g1 is not jumpy and bouncy, maybe its spin sensitive, but not bouncy. g1 is very linear imo and stronger in serve receive and blocking than glayzer (doesnt mean glayzer is bad in that department) g05 is easier to play and they are very...
  3. New Gewo Blades: Anjaehyun Carbon Basic and Prithika Pavade Carbon Basic

Interesting new blades released by Gewo, both available for 50€ Anjaehyun Version: Koto outer alc on one side, Limba inner on the other side https://www.contra.de/gewo-holz-an-jaehyun-carbon-basic/ Pravade Version: Blue Aramid Carbon on one side, Black Aramid Carbon on the other side...
  4. Nittaku fastarc g-1 max thickness?

I wouldn't do it, could mess with the durability of the rubber. If you want a boosted fastarc g1, try stiga mantra pro
  5. Alternative rubber a bit faster than Rakza 7

Omega 7 Pro is what you are looking for
  6. Just Butterfly Glayzer (on backhand)

glayzer is great but fastarc g1 felt like an upgrade to me in almost every way what glayzer can do better is medium power loops (if you cant activate g1 sponge), or full topsheet brushing (glayzer grips exceptionally well). in all other department I see g1 slightly ahead that beeing said...
  7. What do you do to keep your hand relaxed?

before you start playing: 1. bounce the ball on your racket with soft hands. 2. throw the ball in the air and try to catch it with your racket (ball shouldnt bounce). 3. bounce the ball on the floor with your racket (like playing basketball). you are only allowed to hit the ball towards the...
  8. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

looking forward to hearing your impressions :)
  9. Recommendation for FH and BH rubbers

I would say Fastarc G1, but you are looking for a soft topsheet You can try Vega Pro, not bouncy, softer feel, slightly more aggressive than Rakza 7. but they are similar overall Stiga Mantra Pro is very good too, but feels like a boosted fastarc g1. feels softer than its hardness. can be a...
  10. new rubbers recomenndation on Harimoto Innerforce ALC

upgrade to harimoto alc, but keep the rubbers. you will feel a nice speed increase from the blade alone fastarc g1 is excellent. you might not like your new blade if you also change the rubbers, since too many variables are changing at the same time
  11. kids at our club wanting to play penhold inspired by Felix

maybe not ideal for beginners but for intermediate level, yinhe pro 05 (~40 euros). it is in a way similar to felix lebruns blade
  12. Dhs hurricane 3 Orange vs blue sponge

rxton9 is a good rubber but for those fine shots were you grip the ball with the topsheet, it feels very different to h3, especially bs. also much less powerful than h3 bs great price-performance though on rxton 9
  13. Dhs hurricane 3 Orange vs blue sponge

I have also felt like that at times, BS grips the ball so well on backhand If OS wasnt for you I doubt harder sponge will solve the issue. I recommend Xiom Vega China or D09c on backhand (Vega China feels like a very well boosted h3 OS and has better price-performance than d09c)
  14. In-depth look at Tibhar equipment. Any feedback you'd like to share?

how the spin / power / durability compared to fastarc g1
  15. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

l looking forward to your review rxton 9 is nice but I didnt like the topsheet feeling that much. a bit rigid, and didnt grab the ball as nicely as h3 maybe it will be better with the pro version
  16. GEWO Lineup

I agree that their lineup is very confusing (I dont get it either) But to put it into perspective, I live in Northern Germany, and here almost every beginner uses gewo gear, so gewo is quite popular depending on where you live.
  17. Xiom new collection (2026)

I received my Xiom Chrome XAXi Blade. FL Handle, 90g, 1290hz 160x152 headsize This has been referred to as Xiom's new W968 alternative. Some pictures:
  18. Looking for a new Backhand Rubber

thats why I offered options that are similar to t05, yet easier to control
  19. Looking for a new Backhand Rubber

many options, if you like t05 I recommend: Butterfly Glayzer Easier to control on the backhand, but still has the spring sponge effect that you know from your tenergy 05 Nittaku Fastarc G1 Very similar to Tenergy 05 but easier to control in serve receive and blocking you can also try a rubber...
