  1. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Second session done with the Jupiter III. I like it but I miss just a little something, it feels like the brakes are on a bit too much. I decided to glue the Jupiter III to the T11s blade. Gonna give that a try for a couple of hours this week and see if that fixes the problem. I'm a bit...
  2. My experience with Chinese rubbers

First session done on the Jupiter III. Great over the table play, great serves so far. But I need time adjusting on my FH openings and strokes, speed is very linear. Not sure if I need a little more catapult or not, I'll give it some time. My teammate however instantly fell in love with the...
  3. My experience with Chinese rubbers

After a chat with a teammate I glued the Jupiter III 38 to my Butterfly blade this morning. We are both gonna try it out as a forehand option, while the 37 degree Jupiter III might become a backhand option for him. First impressions are very good. For the price you the rubber is pre-glued and...
  4. Post your latest EJ purchase

I've got the Stuor Long-V and Viscaria clone and both handles are similar to regular handles I've tried out. I'd say the Long-V clone handle is a tad larger than average (whole blade is) and the Viscaria clone handle is average sizes but has a more square shape.
  5. Post your latest EJ purchase

Nice haul! I've seen that glue too, any idea on the difference between no. 1 and 2?
  6. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

Choice selection from HWSPORTS on AliExpress amazing. Order arrived in 6 days, very well packaged as well. Might not be the cheapest store on Aliexpress, but it is the one that does best shipping and quality wise so far for me, especially the Choice selection! I am still awaiting a Friendship...
  7. My experience with Chinese rubbers

The Big Dipper and the two Jupiter 3's arrived in the mail today. Seems like the Bloom Power and Battle Pro Max are still a week to week and half away from being delivered. Gonna try to resist glueing one of the sheets to my Butterfly blade this weekend as I wanna try the Friendship rubber...
  8. Butterfly blade for short pips

I'm currently playing SP on my backhand on a Butterfly Balsa Carbon X7 and really enjoying it. Balsa carbon and short pips seem like a very good match in general, especially for softer SP rubbers.
  9. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Thanks for the input as I was writing up my take on the Rxton 3. I think I rather try the softer versions first, as I do think the 40 degree hardness on the Rxton 3 is too hard for my liking and in all honesty too hard for my technique to cope with. I'll give the softer versions a try and see...
  10. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Loki Rxton 3 Tested in Pink on a Stuor Long-V clone and in Blue on a Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7 22. I bought this rubber to try as I was looking for something new being unhappy with my previous setup and rubber experiments. I decided to try this rubber out due to its price and reasonable reviews...
  11. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Hi everyone! Since I recently went on a spree buying several Chinese rubbers to try out, I thought I'd write about my experiences with them, hopefully to be informative for you guys! I am an amateur player, playing for 1.5 year again, after a 12 year hiatus. I play a generally attacking style...
  12. Survey on this setup: Outer ALC Viscaria type + Glayzer 09C FH + Hybrid MK BH

And if you want a "test blade" to experiment with, head over to Aliexpress and look at the Stuor Viscaria-style blade. Will probably be around 30 euros right now for Black Friday and acts very similar to a real Viscaria!
  13. Survey on this setup: Outer ALC Viscaria type + Glayzer 09C FH + Hybrid MK BH

I've played a Tibhar Hybrid MK, Max on FH, 2.0 on BH, on a Viscaria style blade. I disliked the rubber in general, especially on my FH. On BH it was a lot better, but not my holy grail so to say. All in all, if you like what you are playing with, don't change it. If you dislike certain...
  14. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

Ordered the ones I listed and added a Battle Pro Max 38 and a Jupiter III 37 to it, eager to try em out!
  15. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

As I wanna start my prep for the new season early (lame EJ excuse, I know) my Black Friday purchase got bigger than expected as I got a little greedy 😂 I had a Jupiter 3 38, Big Dipper 38 and Bloom Power 45 on my wishlist and added a Battle Pro Max 38 and Jupiter 3 37 to it, all in red. The...
  16. Blade for double short pips

Cool! You have the regular 802-40 there, I have the 802-40 Mystery III, a newer version, bit harder and a better SP for hitting than the regular one I believe.
  17. Blade for double short pips

Can't help you with tips on removing the old glue, also not sure if it hurts to put a regular layer of glue on the current rubber. Balsa carbon blades aren't that scary at all, if you like and can handle a fast blade and don't mind it being a light blade (some people want the blade to be...
  18. Blade for double short pips

I recently started playing with short pips on the backhand and did some research in material combinations. Balsa carbon blades are suggested a lot for being stiff and fast, which seems to pair well with short pips. My favourite blade was a Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7 22 already, so it was a match...
  19. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

EJ'ing on Aliexpress seemed to be a good idea, buy 2 or 3 rubbers for the price of 1 rubber on many domestic markets. Which makes everyone greedy as hell and buy more than they need, which in turns makes many of us spend more then just buying locally. After spending about 95 euros on 11/11, I...
  20. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

Interesting thread to read through, exactly what I needed to fill my Aliexpress wishlist 😁. Gonna give Big Dipper 38, Jupiter III 38 and Bloom Power 45 a try, all in red. Maybe if the deals this weekend are good I might pick up a H3, H8-80, Battle 2 or Battle Max.
