  1. All about blade sealing

nice long explanation. i just would like to add that moisture does sip into blades and probably does change the "feeling". you can easily test this by dehydrating a blade that's seen at least 6-7 months of use. if you measure the weight of the blade before and after, you'll find 1-5 grams are...
  2. How to measure blade frequency?

yes, don't bother learning stuff, it's useless! just buy a lot of stuff and spend your time on tiktok! understanding the world is for nerds. are you a nerd?
  3. Aliexpress Singles Day 2024

totally! DIYers are the OG EJers. raw materials, prefabricates, tooling, r&d time, failed experiments. normie EJs got nothing on us dawg.
  4. boosting .. when again

i get about 1.5 months worth of play with 2-3 sessions/week before the booster effect disappears. i'm fairly certain i can feel the effect decay after about 2 weeks but it's sure as hell not there anymore after 6.
  5. How to measure blade frequency?

although you ask a lot of questions, which is a good thing. you seem to ignore the answers you are presented with.
  6. How to measure blade frequency?

if it's not user input error than probably yes. but you obviously don't know if both blades had the same water content when measured, same ball, normally working mics, etc. whenever you use that spreadsheet to interpret the frequency response of a blade, take the mean of the measurements like...
  7. How to measure blade frequency?

a higher frequency response measured this way = stiffer blade which typically means, a faster blade. meaning ball has higher speed when struck with equal force compared with a blade with a lower frequency response. that said, higher Hz measured this way does not equate a faster blade, it's just...
  8. How to measure blade frequency?

all true. but still, bouncing the ball on the blade and recording the sound with a mic is a metric that correlates with the eventual paddle mechanical performance. it's not a useless metric, but it can mislead you if you don't understand what it means.
  9. Aliexpress Singles Day 2024

this conclusion is getting popular on this forum and imo it's correct. a bty blade is indeed more expensive to make because they had to pay for the r&d, but since tt blades are pretty simple products and the materials needed for manufacture are readily available, after it gets to market...
  10. Aliexpress Singles Day 2024

some of that variation is due to ppl not using the same measurement condition, but you can expect ~50Hz variation between same model blades even from premium manufacturers because wood is not(yet) made in a lab.
  11. Aliexpress Singles Day 2024

that's not true, mean of v14 is higher than pro 01.

the obvious correct pronunciation of Kallberg is Aubergine
  15. Does rubber cleaners actually damage and shorten the life of rubbers??

it needs to be a name brand expensive-ish wet hand-towel marketed for rubber cleaning, otherwise it doesn't work.
  16. Does rubber cleaners actually damage and shorten the life of rubbers??

opportunity indeed. i manufacture and sell tt rubber cleaners. profit margin is extremely good. guess what the main ingredient is(90-95% of volume). hint: someone said that 'it' penetrates your blade in this thread.
  17. Does rubber cleaners actually damage and shorten the life of rubbers??

you will get retarded answers to any questions that involve highschool level chemistry or physics on this forum, because most people here don't know highschool level chemistry or physics. some rubber cleaners do damage the rubber topsheet, some don't. sometimes damaging the topsheet is a good...
  18. DRY BOOSTING. Let the revolution begin.

It's likely that most leading manufacturers will eagerly embrace this opportunity, introducing a wide array of cheap, high-quality boosting spheres to the market. Meanwhile, Butterfly will distinguish itself by offering its own high-quality boosting spheres.
  19. Fangbob2x

I tried AK47 red on BH on Fang Bo B2X for about a month, didn't like it at all. But many people really like AK47 red on BH. It's a very cheap rubber so just give it a go, just be careful if you ever take it off the blade, it has a fragile sponge. Mine ripped in half when I took it off.
