  1. Boosting Layers.

if you know that it is already soft then why boost it at all ????? I use commercial H3 2.15- 40 un-boosted, what i am trying to say is that maybe the good approach might be to glue the rubber on the blade un-boosted and give it a try. Then you can decide if you need boosting or not .
  2. If you were to upgrade Butterfly logo to the "Gold Label" version...

Why not ! It's a free world and making something a bit more personal is a great hobby. 😇 Personally I hate metal labels at the end of the grip if they are not recessed perfectly because I like to stand my blades up to let the rubbers dry properly after a clean.
  3. My expensive and frustrating search for a forehand defensive rubber.

I am happy with Rxton 3 PRO on FH and Rxton 9 on the BH but with the 9 you have to get the correct one of the 5 versions they got, it is called: LOKI RXTON 9 Provincial Team Special it features a small picture on the cover of Zhou Yu ????

    Are you an AI ??
  5. My expensive and frustrating search for a forehand defensive rubber.

I agree but there is of course another little problem with H3 namely that the stickiness has diminished drastically :(
  6. Cheap Chinese Gear

I use the good old fashioned DHS H3 OS hard and unboosted and found it great for blocking, slow "hot potato play" but also BH wrist flicks against incoming back-spin serves. Another rubber is very similar and also sticky is the Loki Rxton 9 provincial special. The problem with it is, Loki...
  7. My expensive and frustrating search for a forehand defensive rubber.

As you just said :" Go back to your blade that worked for you". It was stupid to change the blade. (your words) p.s. to buy a H3 provincial 38° will just add to the confusion spiral.
  8. Cheap Chinese Gear

Sanwei T5000 for about US$ 10 is excellent blade for the money. No need to spend more unless you are into serious competition. Buy it from a good shop at Aliex
  9. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

So, what's in them bottles and is there any dope testing ??????
  10. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

I get it. 🤣 ......but there is actually no rule that orders black to be FH
  11. Screwed by AliExpress.... again.

Indeed things with taxes etc. are getting weird. I bought a blade from Aliex paying NZ$ 28 included was postage and 15% taxes. When I tried to get another one of these blades it was not available anymore in China. After searching the "universe" i found one on Ebay-Germany, price including WUST...
  12. United States Smash 2026, Los Angeles, 6/26-7/5

watching Sidorenko struggle I noticed that he took quite a few "pills" in the brakes, I assume painkillers for his groin problems. It brings up a question i wondered for quite a while now: "What kind of drugs are allowed at this level of TT and are the players somehow tested for doping " ??????

  14. The unfiltered feeling of pips out rubber (or the trapped air problem)

I have long advocated the theory to avoid edge tape because it hinders the air between the pimples to escape. I do like the feel of pimple out rubbers and it reminds me of some rock hard CJ8000 Palio rubbers that gave a similar "direct feel"
  15. W968 Replica from Aliexpress

This is something that really bothers me . STUOR is perfectly capable of making high quality blades and I wish they 'd have the courage and stop selling their products as copies
  16. Reson, the last blade in the SANWEI Tiro series, has been released.

Oh deary me, how sad - never mind. Has it really become so difficult to re-invent the wheel ? 🥴🥴
  17. Press confirence about Beach Table tennis in Pattaya

reminds me of my first pingpong experience at the public swimming pool. Big solid table made of concrete and the paddles had a thin layer of cork. ......and it looks like you are a lefty too. Are you quite sure you are not my long lost twin sister ???? 😁 😁 😁
  18. How to know if I prefer a short or long dwell time?

Ever heard of "BRUSHING " ?????
