I guess you need winter tyres :) Seriously, if you play normally with H3 40, you can use H3 39 or 38 for winter. But you don't have such options with D09C.

Totally personal preference. Probably the reason you think that all the players who play with that blade, play with tacky rubbers. It is easy to buy other inner carbon blades instead of W968 out of China. Additionally, I think there aren't much players who are sponsored by DHS out of China...

You are right. Frankly, winning or playing quality balls, doing less mistake, tactically being able to play well, getting better are more fun than trying new equipment. Maybe your joy of trying new equipments is more dominant than other elements.
