Truls serves, serve receives and also all his backhand shots were better than they have been for the whole year. That is the main difference in my oppinion.

You are forgetting a certain German penholder, who by the way, is doing quite well without SP on forehand as well.

Pushing with SP is not much different than with regular rubbers. You just need to adjust the angle of the bat. Just practice a bit on finding the right angle and brush the ball less.

Truls has been in such terrible shape lately. Amazing how he can find his A-game right at the most important tournament. Truls even hit some really good backhand shots today :). Major difference is that he didn't give WCQ too many free points from easy misses or bad serve returns.
