If you really like the harder feel and grip and kick when you're brush looping with Battle Max Pro, then Battle III might be a step back. B3 is a bit better for flatter hits and gives a more bouncy, softer and faster feel. But it works good for brushing the ball as well.

It's a totally different rubber. The top sheet is more tacky and feels more like the Provincial/National versions of DHS Hurricane 3. The sponge isn't as bouncy as Big Dipper 1. It's quite hard and numb and for me to use it, it requires some boosting.

I would try it unboosted first to see if you need additional boosting or not. Hard to say what fits you best. The rubber will most certainly work well with both types of blades. It's your preferences that should help you decide what would suit you best. Not much help there perhaps :)
