There is not any pictures showing the layers in his blade. Forums and social medias are only guessing that it in fact is a N301. Could also be a custom N656.

It is a custom DHS blade. Rumor says it is a N301.

I am quite sure they boost. They do it to get more spin and speed out of the rubber. How much is a personal preference.

Xu Xin is using Skyline 2 with blue sponge. I know the pimple structure are different between 2 and 3. TG2 is more spin oriented than 3.

It is clearly a Paul Drinkhall Powerspin Carbon blade with Custom Viscaria handle. Shibaev is a big fan of Paul.

Fang Bo was using Viscaria at the latest round CTTSL as well. He was also using the Viscaria blade before he became a Ma Long fan boy. ;) Nothing weird there.

That is what I heard, but major bommer that he withdraw from the event. Perhaps he saw that Anton Kallberg was participating as well and realized that he couldn't win the tournament. ;)

Just to get the terminology straight so what you call FB2 or FB carbon must be the commercial version of Fang Bo's blade which is the Bo 2. I would believe FZD is using a W968 with Fang Bo handle, but I can't confirm it with pictures just yet.
