Today was a great tt day! Had so much fun and beat a visiting player who came to the club. He is rated about 50-100 points higher than me.
Had the most insane topspin rally. First he looped into my wide forehand, i did a crossover step and counter looped it into his backhand.( He is a lefty) He...
I ****ing love to play! Thats my motivation!
What i need motivation for is fitness training aside the playing. For that I usually watch videos like the ones posted above :)
Whats the deal with the whiteboard? DO you draw on it every time you need motivation?
Another gold post from NL.
I know exactly what you mean by using the elbow more as a lever and the circular motion around the shoulder.
However i always thought that those shots were technically bad shots, even tho they were very effective a gave off a good feeling. I also like to use that kind...
Very cool :) Time to do some high altitude training and have +100 stamina for the next year!
Id like to travel china as well. Not only because of tt ofc.

Ofc I played with two red sides - outdoor style xD I have to say that i really liked it, but its hard to actually tell as the rubber was very cold and we played on a stone...
I am catching up on all that tt chat :)
I finally managed to fit in some table tennis. Yesterday I played about 2 hours in my club with the Vega pro on my forehand.
Overall I like it. I had problems to get good spin on the serves, because I haven't figured out how to activate the sponge...
One thing that happens if you play with a cold rubber is that it gets wet very fast and loses grip completely because of that.
As i drive to training with my bicycle I suffer from this, especially if you consider the recent weather.
Wow he even has two tactics to beat him now. First was controlled pushing and moving in and out. Muramatsu adapted with more pivot forehands. Now he is moving him around with controlled topspins... love it!
