  1. Overthinking: Avalox P500 BH rubber

Do you worry about the kind of knife you use to cut a sandwich in half, so long as it's sharp? Get c1
  2. Racket feels weird should I boost it?

Reglue and play with it a bit more imo
  3. Table tennis equipment problem

Might just be that you are brushing too finely, or that there are humidity problems in your playing area.
  4. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

Any cheap LP will do. RITC 755, Palio CK531A, Yinhe Neptune/955, Globe 979, are all good. If you want to get a bit more specialized towards a blocking style, Giant Dragon Talon, Sword Scylla, Spinlord Dornenglanz are also relatively cheap but designed more with reversal/passive blocking in mind.
  5. Sweden Classic + Rakza Z

Good spin, slower speed, higher spin sensitivity. If you are active close to the table and are good at handling/adjusting to oncoming spin, I think it'd be a fine setup for playing a control/spin game, but it will be quite a noticeable change from Rozena.
  6. Recommend me a super slow control oriented setup , for someone who basically just puts everything back ?

Check out the Nittaku Factive, IMO it is a good upgrade to classic style rubbers like Mark V without fully stepping into the range of rubbers like Rakza 7
  7. gewo rubber

Neutron and Inventus are not real rubbers. I think it is fairly easy to spot the differences, after all they use different color packaging and clearly mark the sponge hardness on the different versions. They do like to diversify their flagship lineups though, the Nexxus and Hype series all have...
  8. Japan's TT Youtube outfit WRM visits Korea for a matchup with team of Youtuber Takkyu

This is the only video I've found of Gan actually playing a match, its just judging from a single match but I don't think it's exactly fair to say that he's only "just a bit over usatt2000," but it does seem to me that he probably used to train a lot more in the past and was able to play at a...
  9. Rubber dilemma

C1 too fast, then maybe Baracuda or Aurus Soft.
  10. Rubber dilemma

    Why not just C1 again?
  11. What is the best ESN Hybrid rubber for FH?

i have a sheet of k2 on the way from China so I should be able to get back to you in about a month. I'll try and remember to report back about C54 vs K2 Edit- but I can compare RZEH and Codexx 54. Imo C54 is a bit faster and softer feeling with lower throw for sure. RZEH has the edge in spin...
  12. I got sucked into the Butterfly hype

I think that if you're interested in new stuff, you should try the Vega rubbers on the IFALC, and the Rozena on an old blade you are more familiar with. Buying a whole new setup is practically a recipe for disaster especially if it is much different to your old one.
  13. What is the best ESN Hybrid rubber for FH?

I have tested the Codexx 54, it is in tbe same class as the other 55 degree hybrids like RZEH and GT. I've been through 3 sheets of GT but only one RZEH and Codexx54, but for me the RZEH and Codexx had a higher throw and was a bit slower and less direct than the GTs I got. I felt the Codexx...
  14. What is the best ESN Hybrid rubber for FH?

I have a sheet of RZ on the way, my hope is that the RZ lineup will not be discontinued because RZ is one of the best selling rubbers in Japan.
  15. Awkward state of boosting

Why is it okay for a player to use a boosted rubber if the process was done by the factory, but not okay for a player to do so themselves?
  16. WINNING G-Wave 120 & G-Wave 80

Colestt had been carrying these for a while, been curious to try them but haven't placed an order yet. I might have to buy some now. The ESN55-60 degree hardness is supposed to be similar to DHS 41 degree, right?
  17. The Dark Side is getting more and more tempting...

I'm not sure if ESN makes any anti, but they definitely make pips. Speedy Soft, Grass DTecS, Piranja, Tango Ultra and Express Ultra, Andro Blowfish, Rakza PO etc are all made in Germany by ESN
  18. Butterfly Falcima for noobies

If Falcima is koto/koto, then it seems like it's a modern updated version of the old Oh Sangeun blade which I also believe was koto/koto.
  19. T05, what hardness?

To me it feels between ESN45 and 47.5 harness. Ex to me feels a bit harder than Baracuda and EL-S (esn45) and a bit softer than G1 and MX-S (ESN47.5). The butterfly scale doesn't perfectly correlate to ESN harness its not an exact science, and its difficult to tell what the sponge hardness of...
