Rubber and glue are elastic and deformable materials. If we were talking about a hard surface that did not deform then a bumpy and rough surface would certainly be more noticeable, but the fact that rubbers deform around the ball, the ball also deforms during contact, and the glue layer itself...

Its also weight, legal thickness aside, having more than 4 or 5 layers of glue compared to 2-3 on the rubber can make a noticeable difference in the weight in the head of your racket.

I think Baracuda is not quite as hard as other ESN47.5 rubbers so I am led to believe it is ESN45. It is easier to compress in both shots and pinch test for me vs other gen 4 ESN47.5 rubbers like R7, G1, Aurus, Vega Pro.

I'm guessing the K2 is on the bottom because the pimples seem to be slightly bigger but theres no other way for me to tell as I havent tried K2. These 50 and 55 degree hybrid rubber families just look so similar its nearly impossible to tell just from photos

Aurus is steadier, less grabby than G1. They are reasonably similar IMO but G1 has the edge in making spin and has a higher arc, whereas Aurus is less spin-sensitive and more stable in block/counter.
