  1. US Open Table Tennis Championships-2025 (16–21 December 2025)

Has Guo Yan been coaching at HITTA? Wang Hui seems to be able to get some good players from CNT to coach for him.
  2. US Open Table Tennis Championships-2025 (16–21 December 2025)

Was Guo Yan SYS's teammate in the provincial team?
  3. Technique correction - Trying to Fix my FH backstroke + hitting through the sponge

This is what I call fake feeling of using body power. You probably felt that you used a lot of body power for your drive/loop, but from the video, it showed your body move do not really provide power or speed for hand/arm swing. Your arm power mostly was from your shoulder. To get more body/leg...
  4. Technique correction - Trying to Fix my FH backstroke + hitting through the sponge

You won't create much power if your hand moves before your leg/body gives power. And you won't give good power to the ball when your elbow is far away from your body when you contact the ball.
  5. US buying from Dandoy tariff problem

Did anyone in the US buy from Dandoy recently? How did the custom clearance work? Did you need to pay for the tariff before delivery?
  6. ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2025, Chengdu, 11/30-12/7

Ito +Sora XD should have been tried.
  7. How to play with a hard ball?

DH para 40+ is good. DHS balls are good. Nittaku premium is good for play, but bad for wallet and usually with bad durability. I remember that I broke 2 or 3 Nittaku balls in one night. The good thing for the Joola training balls is that they are really durable.
  8. How to play with a hard ball?

Also it is similar to the transition from 38+ to 40+ balls, brush looping is basically useless. Brush looping is particularly useless for these hard Joola balls. Drive loop with an angle is the way to go. It will force me to use drive loop more even for backspin balls.
  9. How to play with a hard ball?

I also have some Huison training balls from Aliexpress. They are pretty good, almost like DHS or DF 3 star tournament balls. I can feel the difference between the Huison and Joola balls just holding them in the palm.
  10. How to play with a hard ball?

I can feel the Joola 3 star advanced training balls are harder than any of the balls I have used. Nittaku 3 stars balls are hard, but not near to these Joola balls.
  11. How to play with a hard ball?

Everyone in the club is using this ball. And I don't want to be special. I will just try it more to figure out how to play with it better. It appears that for these balls, you need to have better timing and faster accelerating. Adapting to these balls will actually help me time better and...
  12. How to play with a hard ball?

Recently I play with a hard 3 star Joola training ball. The ball feels very hard. It plays so differently from a 3 star Nittaku or DHS ball. It is hard to spin and the trajectory is quite different (flat and dropping quickly?). I tried adjusting my technique for it. But it is still very hard...
  13. Butterfly Zyre 03

How about the durability of O8 China?
  14. ITTF-ATTU Asian Teams Championships 2025, Bhubaneswar, 10/11-15

Psychological/mental training is well underestimated for profession table tennis. No sure whether any team has this kind of training beside CNT?
  15. Butterfly Zyre 03

D05 might be slightly slower than D80, but it is definitely still among the fastest rubber for strong strikes. I think most people don't agree with you point just because you need to compare it with D80 to say it is slow.
  16. Butterfly Zyre 03

Sound transports slower than light. But is it really that slow?
  17. Butterfly Zyre 03

The pips is short, not the rubber top.
  18. China Smash 2025

WCQ's style depends a lot on speed and first attacks. Not sure whether he can keep up with the speed in 3 years. Once he loses in a couple of tournaments (I think it is going to happen in these three years), whether he can hold his head up and keep the confidence is also a problem.
  19. China Smash 2025

Sore played well the first two games and kind of gave up after that.
  20. Harimoto Innerforce Super ALC

Harimoto alc and Harimoto super alc are basically two totally different blades to me. Hsalc feels much more solid at almost everything.
