  1. Suggestion on Blade please

Innerforce is the same blade as the LSW with only different colors. I think the Ai Fukuhara blade is larger, maybe 158*152 or something. If you like the LSW you should also like the IF ZLF, so I would go with that.
  2. Having trouble with Tibhar samsonov force Pro black edition Blade/evolution rubbers

I found that blade to be unplayably fast. Which was a shame because it had the most comfortable handle. You broke a rule of equipment changes. Switch the blade OR the rubber, not both at once. Then you can make a fair evaluation. But my guess is the force pro black edition is not right...
  3. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

    Good luck with that.
  4. Intermediate rubber/blade suggestions

Going general instead of specific names: Loopers who value control over max speed often choose a five-ply all wood blade. Most of the recommendations here are in that category. There are a million different 5-plys out there. You should be able to borrow some for a hit. One main way to limit...
  5. Butterfly release Tomokazu Harimoto New Blade

Bty is going to sell millions of these. Ask some kids who their favorite player is.
  6. How to improve from 2000 to 2200

What did you do to get from 1800 to 2000? Maybe just keep going. Unless you have been stuck at 2000-level for a long time?
  7. What bats /rubbers do Mima Ito/ Mui Horano use

Whoops. Does this mean I'm trying to use a less-controllable SP than Mima? I bought the super thick. How much practical difference is there between 1.8 and 2.0 moristo?
  8. Li Sun: It's Time to Shift Our Thinking of Ito

Sounds like she is working on solving them as fast as they are working on her. Will be interesting.
  9. Why waiting for back spin balls drop before looping back works.

I'm with Takkyu on this one. Taking the ball earlier is better. Swinging how much forward or up depends on how heavy the backspin is, but you can usually swing forward except vs a chopper returning a spinny loop. Which for practical purposes in the US means 99.5% of the time swinging forward...
  10. Li Sun: It's Time to Shift Our Thinking of Ito

Thanks zeio! I love these subbed interviews. You actually improved my whole mental approach to matches by doing these. What's your account for gofundme or whatever you use? I feel like I should celebrate my favorite player's win by sending you another $5.
  11. Swedish Open 2018

Don't you think they already studied her after her wins earlier this year? I guess they could practice more vs SP, but it just seems like a bad style matchup for them. Maybe some young CNT girls will start playing Ito style. That would be fun.
  12. Swedish Open 2018

LSW's loss doesn't look so bad now.
  13. Swedish Open 2018

Key to Ito beating the chinese is to do something different. She has a very unusual game, Ishikawa doesn't. And I don't think LSW choked. Mima was doing 90% of the attacking through the entire match. She missed too many for a while, until she didn't.
  14. Swedish Open 2018

Mimia Ito v LSW, my two favorite players. At least one of them will win and play DN, but I wish it was the final.
  15. Can the USA grow the sport

I'm not so sure about this. Who pays for kids to train? Who drives them to the club. I started playing tennis when I was 7 because my Dad played tennis. Adults who play TT are more likely to have kids who play TT.
  16. Can the USA grow the sport

Pickleball is growing fast because they don't draw a line between real, serious pickleball and badx basement ping-pickle. Table tennis, aka pingpong, is also growing fast here. We just are too proud to call it table tennis. But when new players take up a sport, which is the only way it grows...
  17. Can the USA grow the sport

The sport is growing very fast in the USA. It's growing because businesses decided it was cool to have tables at work, and because people are opening for-profit clubs. It isn't growing in schools, or through municipal government, community-based non-profit clubs, or the national association...
  18. Becoming more consistent in actual matches

    Your practice is too easy.
  19. My new foam edge tape

I've been using this huieson edge tape for a few months. It's great stuff.
