  1. Xiom Zeta China and Xiom Omega VII Asia ( China Exclusive)

Omega asia 7 china exclusive is a 47.5 degree sponge.
  2. Using coach's 2nd Viscaria w/Dignics 09C!

Viscaria to me is ok. The handle is too big for my hands so I no longer use it. I find that I can't use any forehand rubber on it except h3. On my HL5 clone, I can use TDE and Tau 2 in addition. I prefer a better forehand.
  3. How much $ do you spend on coaching?

On a side note, the flicks are a symptom of my root problem. Service receive. In my effort to improve my backhand, I made less use of my forehand to speed up my learning. Instead of fh pivot loops, I opted to do backhand loops. I know I play best when I can just forehand any topspin ball. I...
  4. How much $ do you spend on coaching?

I just finished a year of training here in thailand. Before I started, I could barely topspin a ball on backhand, only drive or block. Now I can go into a backhand loop off a long push. I can finish points with my backhand a lot more consistently now. What puzzle was left for me was the...
  5. Xiom Omega VII Pro cheaper alternative

Idk where u find stiga platinum to be cheaper than omega 7.
  6. Victas Ni Xia Lian

I quite like victas' handles. Comfy for me, held a Quartet AFC and VFC. Quite a unique feeling. Like a car with two turbos to compensate for turbo lag.
  7. How much $ do you spend on coaching?

For me 1 month is 140 usd. It's group training that lasts 3-4 hours everyday except mondays. I often go only on the weekdays but you can come everyday.
  8. Dignics 09c vs DNA Dragon Grip

I'd assume it's because you can lift the ball better from farther. In my experience using H3 and comparing to TDE and Tau 2. Both of which have thin topsheets, that they rely a lot more on the sponge to create arc. This means it takes more effort to engage it properly.
  9. An upgrade from V>15 extra

I have it on standby when my Z52.5 wears out. So give me 1-2 months. Z52.5 is a little heavy but it suits me right now.
  10. Mizuno Q Quality a cheap and performant tensor that matches Tenergy 05 at half price

Goodness that looks tempting. If it's around 50g then lookin good.
  11. An upgrade from V>15 extra

I dom't plan to go back to it. It's too high arc for my backhand. I also need a bit more catapult.
  12. An upgrade from V>15 extra

It's all the rave, but it costs practically the same as the Z52.5. I'd be interested in the A2 as I had been looking for a 50 deg rubber (hence Hammond Z2). Honestly, I've just been testing out a lot of different rubbers for my backhand side. Some rubbers lose me points (V>15), some win me...
  13. An upgrade from V>15 extra

Update: played TDE and Z52.5 on both sides for 4 hours. TDE is a speed monster, doesn't have the kick but the sheer speed and low arc makes it feel like a speed rubber. It's counters are also very user-dependent. The sponge is so hard that almost everything is sent short on a non-active...
  14. An upgrade from V>15 extra

First impressions of J&H Z52.5 and Triple Double Extra. The "Z" plays like a 50 degree rubber with the explosiveness of a 48 degree rubber. It's slight tack helps grip slow balls (still have to test with flicks). Can be used for both FH and BH. On loops it has a long trajectory and medium-high...
  15. An upgrade from V>15 extra

Went in person to compare V>15 and V>22. Not enough difference to warrant the price. Grabbed a Hammond Z2 and a J&H Z52.5. Edit: I now have the option to say I have dignics with it's red sponge.
  16. Cheap alternative to D05?

Cut off glayzer's topsheet, cut off an old dignics' sponge. It becomes "Dignics"
  17. Fastarc G-1 vs V>15 extra on backhand

Yep, soft topsheet. V>15 has this dead inelastic topsheet which makes it harder to activate.
  18. An upgrade from V>15 extra

Considering V>20 and V>22 has a hardness deviation of +-3. I'll see if the lightest weight of V>20 rubbers is comparable to V>22 at the highest weight available.
  19. Fastarc G-1 vs V>15 extra on backhand

Actually i have another thread where i'm looking for an upgrade in sponge hardness from V>15 extra. Currently im deciding between V>22 and omega 7 tour i (50 deg)
  20. Fastarc G-1 vs V>15 extra on backhand

I'd love to try Platinum, it's just it's the exact same price as dignics here.
