  1. Sandpaper player looking for first sponge rubber paddle

I would go then with premade buster with max rubbers.
  2. Just tried ZJK ZLC, why don't people like ZLC?

Have you played long enough that honeymoon syndrome wore off?
  3. Sandpaper player looking for first sponge rubber paddle

That is also decent option. I've heard only good things colestt, but have not tried myself. If you from US you can also check Gambler stuff https://gamblertt.com/shop/. From blades a Zen or Instinct could be decent, did not tried those. From rubbers I've used Burst, Mech-Teck and Volts. The...
  4. Sandpaper player looking for first sponge rubber paddle

Two ak47 and thicker 5 ply or thin 7 ply.
  5. Lifespan of the blades

... For blades you are more likely to get bored of them than breakage... I would just getting whatever you like (if you are an amateur) or whatever coach suggests (if you are trained).
  6. Lifespan of the blades

For us, mere mortals, they last until you smash it into the table.
  7. Can't topspin good with new rubber?

I don't agree with that. Only thing that swing length gives is more distance to accelerate the paddle. I think that the only things that matter are: racket speed how efficiently you can transfer energy / power / the thing (brokenball please help me with which verb to use here) into the ball as...
  8. Can't topspin good with new rubber?

The sponge of your new rubber is much easier to compress. Sponge works similar to a spring in your car. If you have hard linear springs you need more force to compress them. It will take a bigger bump to bottom out the spring than with a softer spring. Now you can imagine what happens with your...
  9. Can't topspin good with new rubber?

I kind of agree and don't agree. This can go both ways. Don't change equipment unless you have a concrete need. You hit through the rubber every single time you hit with 50% of your capacity? You might want to change. Your rubber is slippery in your conditions? You might want to change. You...
  10. Tibhar MX-D

    Any thoughts?
  11. Tibhar MX-D

Any news on this one? Has any member used it so far?
  12. Is Fang Bo Carbon worth it?

Agreed. It is one of those blades which allow you to smack more force on FH. You gotta lay on it tho.
  13. Interesting experience with Bluefire...

I think that the closest one is Shore O, but due to nature of these scales, I don't think you can really convert them from one to another. The tools to measure the thing are different and thas same materials will respond different.
  14. Interesting experience with Bluefire...

41 Shore A is close to 60 on the ESN scale.
  15. Cure for the EJ

Mog needs to talk to Mr. Vodak. That guy is a true EJ doctor.
  16. Vodak Hajto APC specjal

I had my first practice with the Vodak. Definitely a keeper. It has same top-end speed but lower first speed. It's much easier to absorb the pace from the ball than with Donic Ovtcharov No.1 but I still can do very similar power top-spins. It helps me to control the pace much more and vary the...
  17. Vodak Hajto APC specjal

It is one to one physical copy of No.1. I'll post more pics tomorrow once I get proper light.
  18. Robot for training the basics

I agree and disagree at the same time. You have to go somewhere to do multiball and in current hard times it is not to be taken for granted. I love the fact that I can go to my coop and play with the robot for an hour or two whenver I want even during lockdown.
  19. Vodak Hajto APC specjal

I have ordered this blade ago, but because of the current global situation it took some time to be made. I really really loe the super porous limba top surface. This blade is very close to Horejsi ALC, but with a bunch of my customizations. First and most important. Mods Super ALC instead of...
