For sure! Older TT-player plays more with spin because his arm-technique was different. Starting lower and finest higher with open blade. Result, higher arc => difficult to block. Many younger player are not familiar with this kind of balls. Even agains pure defender players, they don't know how...
Thank you very much for this recommendation Tim.
Over the last 20 years we didn’t play any more with rubbers thicker than 1.9. Probably 2.1 or max. will be too fast for me.
We will try the Rasanter R42 for sure and will bought also the Nexxus EL PRO 43 I suppose.

I'm also in the running for a new rubber. For the moment i play with Gewo Hype XT pro 40.0-1.9 on my FH. Lovely rubber but i have work hard with it for a little bit speed/power, spin (really great) and control is very good for my game and not a problem. I already bought the Andro Rasanter...
I played three times against Jean Mi. Only the first time I could beat him, when he was 9 years old...[emoji16]

Easy choice [emoji16]
Andro Super Core CL ALL+ / 70gr.
But maybe a better choice (at least for me):
Andro Temper Tech All+ / also 70gr.
Good luck!

Many times the same faults against a left hand player like Timo.
Timo returns several times with a straight on (parallel)ball...lethal weapon...Is mostly a surprise for this opponent. [emoji16]

Great match! Very nostalgic!
Philippe Saive got much more talent than his brother JM but less of character. Very pity.

Still searching for playing possibilities in Crete. It’s looks like a real disaster, except in the touristic hotels, but it’s not my intention. [emoji30]
