How reliable is this frequency thing compared to the feeling and flex of the blade? Since I have some new blades coming in: I was thinking maybe I test the frequency and if it is too high/too stiff then I just return the blade.

I tested a random blade and it shows 1230 at the peak here. Am i doing it right? Am I supposed to put the marker at the top of that red line?

Some of the measurements don't make sense though. Everybody says the Yinhe Pro 01 is thinner and more flexy than the V14 Pro. But in the spreadsheet, V14Pro has a lower frequency.

Maybe next time I will ask seller to measure the blade frequency as well

I now have 3 similar blades with this Koto-inner style: 75 inner, Pro 03, and Loki Arthur Pro ZLC. I think it's seriously awesome style of blade...I don't know why its not more popular

Have you compared it with Sanwei 75 inner or Yinhe Pro 03? These are all similar style blades, right?

I just noticed the w81 inner uses yellow alc but the w81 outer uses blue alc. What is the difference between these 2 alc?

Haha, for a guy like me, it's a bit shameful that I don't even know how people measure frequency or what it means? Do people use an app to measure frequency or something by bouncing the ball on the blade directly? And is higher frequency meaning more hardness or stiffness or rebound?
