what i had to say is p much the same as NextLevel's dont worry bout it just use any sidetape your hands can get on if you rly want it they're all the same....... even a cheapo chinese brand sidetape will work well for me i dont use sidetape and i dont care that much about my blade hitting...

if you're being coached a fast blade would still be fine to use, esp when you're using cheapo chinese rubbers ofc the best way to learn would be to use a slower setup, a decent allwood blade with a pair of decent rubbers would be good enough, but if you've already brought a new toy to play why...

if it doesnt hurt ur fingers then thats great however i would still advice you to sand your blade bc it will make your grip more comfortable when doing RPB (when doing anything, rly) finger gap doesnt matter as much unless you use traditional penhold backhand, so if you're a full on RPB player...

i personally dont reboost i did it three times (reboosting three different rubbers once) and everytime i boost the rubber a 2nd time it feels mushy af only one thin layer of booster ofc maybe thats why people go for harder sponges like 41? but the 729 battle max pro i had was 41 degrees and...

i boosted xuperman powerplay rubber with 2 layers of seamoon throughout two days its heavier than battle 2 blue sponge but the weight is manageable ive already pasted the rubber at the time of this post and i am looking forward to trying it out tmr

imo this is the hardest part about backhand strokes (at least for me) even if ur stroke is good ur balls are still going to be low quality if you hit the ball too close or too far from the body; the FH is maybe more forgiving in this aspect in real matches its a real pain, you never know if...

tackiness of VP is on the lower scale unfortunately i would say that the rubber itself is fast for a chinese rubber but keep in mind that its factory boosted
