  1. Psychology in moments of frustration in Table Tennis

Mine is the opposite. I usually fall behind 0–1 or 0–2 before making a comeback. What’s on my mind when I’m trailing? Nothing. I’m just enjoying it. I’m used to giving a 5- or 6-point handicap in training. Usually we put a bit of money on it, around $6–10, and the winner takes it. Doesn't sound...
  2. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Just how much booster does Oh apply to his rubber if even K3 looks that way? At this point Kim Nayeong might as well be sponsored by DHS instead of XIOM.
  3. ITTF WTTTC Finals London 2026, 4/28-5/10

Yeah, both served illegally. Still, ITTF should change the rule of serving. No more pendulum serve and serve should be like that of Samsonov.
  4. Finally tested Spinsight - What helped you to increase spin in your game?

What to do? 1. Close your racket angle. 2. Dig the sponge more. That's it.
  5. New FH Rubber (Glayzer, Fastarc G1, Omega VII Pro)

Absolutely, D05 is the better rubber of the two if you can handle it, which you can't. Is it better for you then? Your argument we don't hit 100% all the time is actually the reason why Glayzer is the better choice. When you are out of position in a match, which you will, you can only...
  6. New FH Rubber (Glayzer, Fastarc G1, Omega VII Pro)

You are paying D05 exactly for its max performance. Same goes for why H3 users buy Blue Sponge and National version; for its Maximum Performance. Whether we can actually reach that ceiling is another matter. Getting 1.9 for ease of use kind of defeats the purpose of getting a top end rubber...
  7. Zhang Jike on Blades and How to Try Them...

I agree with zjk after all I was the man who switched blades mid-tournament and completely messed it up.
  8. Match tactics

    Wrong
  9. Match tactics

I'd say advance players actually play it more simply than you think. My rule of thumb is A short push tends to be lighter than a long push all things considered. When you face an advanced player, always assume their long push is heavyit, especially when you see them intentionally makes it long...
  10. Best limba carbon blade

Yinhe Y-13. You can slap any rubbers on it, G1 is the best thing.
  11. Recommendation for FH and BH rubbers

The answer for your problem is Butterfly Flextra. Lightweight, slower than Rozena, linear, and you have no choice but to commit to end the point.
  12. Dhs hurricane 3 Orange vs blue sponge

1 kg of steel is heavier than 1 kg of feather. 40 degree of BS is denser than 40 degree OS.
  13. FH loop - do I brush on the top or side?

It's more like top-side spin. What do you mean by brush? By nature, all rubbers spin by deforming the sponge and the topsheet. Tack is almost useless, IMO.
  14. Looking for a backhand-punch rubber

Backhand punch? Donic Platinum, gold, coppa silver are all good.
  15. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Get Mercury and boost the heck out of it. It's the better approach than getting a sheet of H8-80. Or you could get yourself TG3-60.
  16. DHS Hurricane 8-80 review: A great hybrid backhand rubber

Used it once, threw it away after 10 sessions. People keep saying Glayzer is slow, H8-80 is nightmarish slow with even lower spin generation. Boosting also didn't help much. For the price, it's okay but you can get so much more just buying Vega Europe or Golden Tango.
  17. Alternative to Dignics 09C

You’re underestimating the vanity of amateur players. Winning isn’t really the prioritythere, they’d rather lose while going for huge, low-percentage topspin shots. There’s this belief that they can unlock the full potential of high-end rubbers, even if the consistency just isn’t there.
