  1. San Francisco looking for training partner.

Changed my backhand to D80 since two D09C on a 95g blade started feeling a bit heavy at times and made it hard for transitions. D09C FH and D80 BH on a 95g blade is about 190g. This setup feels amazing and is so well balanced. I no longer have those uncontrollable moments I sometimes have with...
  2. Switching between inner and outer carbon depending on season/humidity

Does anyone else switch between inner and outer carbon blades depending on humidity or season? I notice that during the dry winter, I tend to play better with inner carbon blades as they get harder, but in the summer months, the humidity can make the inner carbon blades too soft. Vice-versa for...
  3. best tt shoe?

Agree strongly with this. Once you injure/sprain your anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL), it's so much more prone to injury. This is such a common injury and probably one of the most common patient reasons for coming to foot and ankle clinic. If you do sprain your ankle, we generally...
  4. San Francisco looking for training partner.

What are the weights of your ZLF? I’ve been looking for a heavier one but the heaviest I’ve seen is around 85g

  10. Loki W81?

Looking on Ali for the singles day sale, and I keep seeing all these different versions of the Loki W81. There's an outer version, inner version, SZLC, golden SALC. Wish there was a better of differentiating them. Anyone have experience playing with them? Also from their instagram, it looks...
  11. What brand of TT balls do you prefer?

Playing in a butterfly sponsored tournament this weekend and we're going to be using the R40+ balls. Haven't played with those in a while, but I remember they felt more "floaty" and I couldn't generate as much spin. I really like the DHS DJ40+ and the Double Fish WTT V40+(?) balls. Everyone at...
  12. Cured vs non cured long pips?

No, you’re going the wrong direction. You need shorter wavelengths not longer.
  13. San Francisco looking for training partner.

The weight is more towards the handle. Center of gravity has been shifted back a little which gives you more control at the head of the blade. Because of it's overall weight at 95g though, you get a lot of stability and can still hit fast shots. Transitions from BH to FH are slower tho so I'm...
  14. Cured vs non cured long pips?

you can just leave your rubber in the sun or use a uv light like those used for nails
  15. Stiga Surge Hybrid Carbon

Wish Stiga would CWT to all their blades, I want a golden carbonado 45 with CWT. I like my current one, i just wish there was a better weight distribution that i could customize
  16. Stiga Surge Hybrid Carbon

Seems like a slower inspira CCF
  17. DHS 968 Thread

Most likely going to get q968 now haha. Will report back with results if I get it
  18. DHS 968 Thread

Another observation for golden viscaria. Because the dwell time is increased, chops and chop blocks are actually very viable with this blade. A lot of my chops are now landing on the table whereas with viscaria, they often go long or are too high because the blade is bouncier.
  19. DHS 968 Thread

Agree with this. I have the Stiga inspira hybrid carbon which is just the international version of the WMY blade. It’s not the same as viscaria at all. It’s more head heavy and harder than viscaria. Shots are faster and more direct
