It's actually easier to deal with these guys than with LP choppers unless they "treated" the LP. All you need to do is serve light backspin to the LP which will give you a weak return that you can end easily.

The change in rubber's behavior after losing most of its tack isn't really that big, tbh. Even if you feel the difference, it's mostly on the short game, and even then it's not really that big of a difference where it requires you to tweak your technique.

Glayzer is your answer. It lasts almost forever, slower and spinnier than most rubbers. Rozena is also a good choice but Glayzer is perfect, imo.
