I think they might of meant the Butterfly Marcos Freitas ALC?? A bit slower and more controlled than viscaria - some inner carbon options - butterfly innerforce layer alc, a DHS 301 - Koto inner carbon, Nitaku acoustic inner carbon. A slower outercarbon is the new Butterfly Outerforce alc.

Has anyone used both these blades. Wondering how these two blades compare for both speed and control? Which do you prefer? Thanks

You using different rubbers on different blades, maybe swap them and see if it's the rubbers that don't suit your blade
