Yeah I agree what these posts above say. My 2 cents are, If you want to experiment you should go for it. Even if you don't like it you'll still learn from it.

I use the triangle (tearing a piece of paper) Makes my stroke more reliable and stable during intense situations. Frisbee methode is very powerful, but requires more precision. If you are a hot head this technique is very satisfying, because you can miss 90% and still be happy with it.

I own many stiga blades, I notice much qc issues. From my Infinity VPS where the spruce layer has come off to top ply splinters, I see all kinds of issues online with stiga qc. I mainly use Stiga as brand, from equipment to clothing. I do notice a qc difference with my current carbonado 45...

The strokes you said he wants to improve in are all matter of regular training with different partners including left handed players. As for rubbers these are soft and not that quick. I'd stay with soft rubbers that have more speed. Examples are Yasaka Rakza 7 soft, Xiom vega europe and many more.

Mostly heavy loops like nandan counter training. Does hurt but worth it for the young and passionate. I set the goal of 1900 rating within 2 years (2100 USATT?) so I also can't slack off during training for myself.
