  1. What is a compact stroke?

I do feel that you can play a compact stroke/looping if you can loose your body/wrist, and apply a wrist whip at the end while gripping the paddle very tightly with a little more power from the index finger. But this is only good for very close table/on table plays.
  2. What is a compact stroke?

In order to loop the ball a little on the side, you will need to turn your body (palve) and the ball will actually be in front of you when you loop it. All CNT players loop like this. Shorter stroke is usually for hitting or for defense/control plays.
  3. Short loop and soft touch

I think the problem is usually timing, footwork, and too big a stroke at the end. And to solve the problem, one needs to solve the problem one by one. First, learn to move with good timing, then practice the strike just waiting for the ball on the forehand side. And the last step is to combine...
  4. Ovtcharov ALC vs Viscaria ALC blade?

    Inner/outer, Limba top/Koto Top, large face/smalle face...
  5. Mayo is overrated

All these commentatings from previous cnt members are really not that good, too biased, too much personal emotion
  6. DRY BOOSTING. Let the revolution begin.

Igor is the greatest entertainer of all times (GEAT) at the table tennis forums.
  7. Using an Expensive Rubber vs Cheap Rubber, that is the question.

If money is a real issue, those cheap Chinese rubbers mentioned can work pretty decent. unless you are at a very high level or have a sensitive hand/feel, I don’t think the quality control of these rubbers becomes a big issue.
  8. Blades that are similar to DHS W968

I know that w968 can be someone’s dream blade, but W968 is not for everyone. W968 is for players that can engage body to play.
  9. Downgrade blade back to all-wood?

I think you are talking about equipment, not about learning technique. Slower rubber gives you better control, but you need to learn or adjust again for fast rubbers. I feel it’s better to learn technique with your current setup
  10. Saudi Smash 2024

It depends on how you define "many". 10 days or 15 days between two big events are really not enough time for players to recover, considering all the travel time and time zone change
  11. Edges of rubber not stuck down aswell?

DHS No.15 is a good option
  12. Pros Vs New York Ping Pong Hustlers For $1000!

The key is to play against the general public, not the real table tennis nerds
  13. DHS W968 review

From my experience, national version definitely has more wow factor with huge better support.
  14. What would or could happen when I downgrade rubbers for a period of time?

It really depends on what your plan is. IF you want to learn more about looping and controlled play, I think downgrading to slow rubbers will help. But it must be tough to stick with as you will lose some games at the beginning.
  15. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

IF someone does not know how to slow spin the ball, it is really not much fun to play against LP. Like, for any USATT 1600 and below players, really not much fun for these players to play against LP.
  16. Saudi Smash 2024

There are more champions and smash events this year.
  17. 2024 WTT Champions Incheon 03.27-03.31 Korea

During LJK Vs ML match, I think LJK played smarter in the 7th game. Slower spinner backhand that ML can't borrow power,..
  18. World Cup 2024

I think players in most countries fund themselves for these tournaments. China is the only one that pays everything for the players and the players get paid with salaries as well.
  19. Saudi Smash 2024

Saudi Smash 2024 (May 01-11) This is probably the last big event before Olympics? In one month https://worldtabletennis.com/eventInfo?eventId=2932 https://www.saudismash.com/home
  20. 2024 WTT Champions Incheon 03.27-03.31 Korea

IT is amazing that all these older players are still playing pretty good against the young generation.
