  1. Anyone use Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC Blade?

After about 4-6 hour playing, I'm not yet fully convinced of the OALC. My blade is 84gr and it feels well balanced. The handle is a bit too smooth for my liking and a bit too thin. I prefer the Stiga or Tibhar FL handles. Tried G09C and MK, but I might need to switch to more "active" rubbers...
  2. Can you loop effectively with a thinner balsa blade?

Although choice of material matters (as level of support to generate spin), I have to agree with @brokenball on this one. You can generate spin with every blade and rubber. It all depends on technique and physical competence. Is it possible to generate decent spin with TSP Balsa 4.5? Yes Can...
  3. Help to choose my new blade

Good to hear you have good first impression! Would be nice if you could provide an update in 4-6 weeks or so. Just to rule out NEES (New Equipment Euphoria Syndrom) Have fun with your new setup and may you win many matches!
  4. difference between Buttfly Viscaria and Innerforce ALC.S?

Minor correction: ALC.S outer layer is limba, second layer is spruce.
  5. Inner Carbon blade as an "upgrade"?

Clipper with those rubbers is not a slow setup and I wonder what you are currently missing, wanting you to switch to composite blade. Not sure what type of Clipper you have, but Clipper Wood blades are easily >90 gr. In combination with DNA Pro M and T05, I definitely would not consider this a...
  6. SDC Handmade Blades

160x150.....that explains the weight. Interesting blade!
  7. Supplements to stay healthy and improve your game

A perfectly balanced compound of H2 and O resulting in an healthy transparent fluid substance.
  8. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

I don't agree. For me, MK feels less spin sensitive and less catapult.
  9. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

Still using the Hybrid MK on both BH and FH.... ...and just noticed Tibhar's announcement of Hybrik MK Pro (harder sponge)
  10. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

If the topsheet of ZGX isn't too hard, might give it a try to compare with Hybrid MK. Of course, ZGX will have the overall more firm feeling versus 47.5 degrees MK, but still worth doing an 1:1 I think :)
  11. Another raising star - Chang Yu-An of Chinese Taipei

Just saying....the screaming is really getting out of control. Seems like lately it's way more and overly reacted for each and every point. Personally, I wouldn't mind if there was a decibel meter near the table and player would get penalty for too loud screaming. ...or I am just getting too...
  12. Tibhar Shang Kun AC

    Tibhar Shang Kun AC

The HYBRID AC fibers placed directly on the inner veneer provide the necessary stability with almost unlimited variability. The difference to Shang Kun ZC is that the ball contact is more intensive and also longer. This opens up more possibilities and is therefore ideal for the flexible...
  13. DHS Long 3 - Anyone using ?

Played for a while (and still have) the Long 3. It is a 7-ply allwood blade. Despite being 7-ply it is relative thin and as a result more flexible compared to ALC blades. Speed is indeed much lower compared to ALC blades, however, topspins are a breeze and it produces real nice and fine shots...
  14. Truls Moregardh Set to play in Chinese Super League

Truls beat Sun Wen. Good for him.
  15. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

New update on durability. So I kept using the MK rubbers although the FH noticeably lost its performance. Tried it on a few blades and I remove the old glue layer after about 3 times glueing the rubber. By experience , I know removing the old glue is a real risk. The sponge takes a beating of...
  16. Post your latest EJ purchase

Wow.....that inside curling of the pink Winion rubber is insane

Hi, have you played a Korbel? If so, is the handle (size/width) similar to Korbel?
  19. SDC Handmade Blades

Really nice looking blade Sergio. (y)
  20. Xiom Vega Pro and Vega Europe - Still a good combination?

If you play controlled offensive, both rubbers are a safe bet. Used on an ALL+ blade, you won't have a speed-monster and it may lack in speed away from the table. You also won't have the massive (potential!) spin of Tenergy, Dignics or MX-.. , but you will be able to keep the ball on the table...
