  1. Quan Shi Bao is amazing

QSB boosted all sticky rubbers before assembling.
  2. Butterfly 2025 New Blades: Outer Force ALC, CAF, ZLC

I actually hope BTY can create a blade with four or three layers of carbons. It would be much more interesting to see than outerforce.
  3. Butterfly 2025 New Blades: Outer Force ALC, CAF, ZLC

Innerforce sounds fun and creative. Outerforce? weird, not interesting, and...
  4. How do I improve my backhand? (closed)

If you wanna hit/penetrate through rubber, you will need to use more of your body. To create spin, you will need to accelerate through the ball mainly by fingers and wrists. The key for more spin is usually quick finger motion, but you need to have a relaxed arm and body before contacting the...
  5. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

Double fish is not really good at promoting their products. Most people probably don’t even know that double fish makes blades and rubbers.
  6. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

CM was SYS's teammate as well. Maybe that is why CM beat SYS twice in Olympics. This teammate thing can be both sides.
  7. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Chen YuanYu and Huang YouZheng were given chances to play in the Singapore Smash because of their recent achievements. So who knows how and when CNT made their decision. In my impression, KM has not had any good results until recent months. So obviously she is on the rise. If she can beat two...
  8. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

So far, KM is the only (?) CNT woman players that receives and plays with different paces and strikes, which is fun to see. At least, she is not a total trained robot.
  9. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Did you expect KM to beat WMY and CXT? I did not and she surprised us. SYS is not invincible. CM could beat SYS with good placement and I think KM can too.
  10. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

KM's wide angle shot might give SYS some trouble. If KM can take this event and keep performing well, it will totally change the CNT picks for 2028 Olympics. SYS might really never get a Olympic gold in singles.
  11. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Can Kuai Man be the next Zhang YiLing that Li Zhu did not find on ZYL? I really like her style, versatile, great placement...
  12. Xiom new collection (2025)

Problem of Xiom: Way too many new products without much improvement/invention
  13. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Adam is a treasure compared to most chinese commenters. Most of them are largely biased for their favorite players.
  14. HOT DAMN !!! This coach teaches FH Slow/Heavy loop exactly every key point Der_Echte values !!!

ZJK just introduced a concept to block/counter the slow spinny ball when it is dropping. It actually makes more sense. Blocking the ball when it is rising requires good judgment, timing, and touch. You can easily block/hit a slow spinny ball from another amateur is just because it is not spinny...
  15. Do these things happen in the club where you play table tennis?

One thing is that these "better" players are closer to the coach/club owner. But it is really not proper for the coach to ask for the average player to leave the table because the better players will play there, unless there is something special coming up.
  16. Do these things happen in the club where you play table tennis?

I think this happens everywhere. And the problem is the coach (or club owner). I don't think higher ranking (better) players have any higher priority than any other player. For most amateurs, higher or lower ranking does not matter as much as having fun and getting exercise. But I do see the...
  17. How much do ping pong coaches charge per hour, where you live?

Rating coaching level bases on playing level is really a big mistake/error. I have seen many top former national players coach amateurs clueless. Many of these coaches basically just feed balls without correcting or improving the amateurs' skill.
  18. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Before the Singapore smash, CNT had a two-week (?) closed training, which usually guarantees CNT performs well in a tournament .
  19. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Like Kanak Jha's style. He probably has the cleanest serve among all pros. And his versatility is so good, even better than Truls sometimes?
  20. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Is Lili Zhang's stand a little too wide? I think it limits her mobility.
