  1. Impressive Korean Custom Blade Maker Vid

Amazing some skill on show there. Thing of beauty. Would be intresting to see how Butterfly really make there blades in comparison.
  2. Lebrun brothers join Tibhar

I take it they were using Butterfly previously? Will be interesting if there is a change in results positive or negative with this change. I seem to recall Pitchford's results dropping off a bit when he initially switched to Victas. They are young though so im sure it wont affect them to much...
  3. Hybrid rubbers how close to Tacky Chinese or Grippy ESN spring sponge?

You've convinced me (not that i needed much :-) ) ordered a sheet of K3
  4. btfy alc: limba or koto?

ive gone Limba > Koto > Limba > Koto. I always seem to drift back to Koto. I just think TBS/Viscaria are the best blade composition.
  5. Experiences switching to hybrid rubbers

Sounds like a sensible plan - which isn't always guaranteed on this forum :-) I would try one - i think you will like it if you give it a bit of time - at least 5/6 sessions min, i feel a lot of balls that would usually shoot off the end if im out of position a bit drop on with good spin.
  6. Hybrid rubbers how close to Tacky Chinese or Grippy ESN spring sponge?

Hi Wrighty – Interesting you've changed to K3 - im temped to try, or Rakza Z. What do you prefer to D09c? Also C53 you say you like but prefer K3, what isn't liked? Rakza 7 on BH?
  7. Experiences switching to hybrid rubbers

I think trying Rakza Z or some of the hybrids could work - I'm 40 next year and I just cant move as quick to play an all out speed fest with some of the juniors or younger players - but I can be in the game or pick up wins with spin and placement - still with an attacking game - just not bang -...
  8. Is Rakza 7 a good T05fx alternative?

To5fx does feel great on the TBS - it pairs really well i think. An different alternative if control is important and keeping with Butterfly would be Roundell. I think its an under appreciated rubber. its not quick but plenty of control and decent spin. If your finding T05fx a little quick to...
  9. Shocking escapade by Shibaev. The Umpire got upset.

so what actually happens here? It looks like he was already on a yellow card (theres one on the scoreboard) then he has his little temper tantrum. (Which is funny as he damages both rubbers even though he missed a backhand only). Then the umpire holds up a red and yellow card it seems - surely...

  11. European Table Tennis Championships 2022

  12. Videos of Table Tennis England Grand Prix Finals

  13. Butterfly Patrick Franziska innerforce zlc

I tried this blade for the first time last night and I really like it - with D09c on FH that I'm used too and trying T19 on BH - its a beast for blocking and short game seemed easy and consistent, I bought it as a back up secondhand but think it might become my number 1 blade.
  14. Feedin in multiball

Baby steps - not sure i can quite be aiming for the CNT coaches just yet :-) But thanks for the first good to know
  15. Feedin in multiball

Hi - has anyone know any tutorials or tips on feeding for multiball for the best way to do it?
  16. Fan Zhendong blade series!!

Personal preference but I'm not sure I like the handle design, a little underwhelmed - it will still outsell everything though I imagine
  17. Viscaria / Harimoto thoughts..

D05 on your FH on the Violin?
  18. How do you learn the counter-punch stroke?

She stays close to the table consistently which helps her dominate the rally. Something my coach was saying last night - need to stay forward and play into the ball not playing as I'm falling away.
  19. Viscaria / Harimoto thoughts..

    Totally agree @Emberwhirl and @DukeGaGa
  20. Viscaria / Harimoto thoughts..

I didn't really get the woody feel some have, I think on the scale its closer in feeling to an out ALC than a wood blade, but what we are talking about are very small margins. @NDH is a better player than me so his feedback will be far more precise! For me the speed difference was very small...
