  1. Alternative BH rubber?

Stiga platinum Pro S is a bit faster, but bottoms out easier
  2. Unboosted Hurricane 3

Friend of mine uses it on Cybershape carbon, it doesn't. Whatever is your preference.
  3. Rakza Z vs Baracuda

Rakza Z is better for spin in rally with shorter strokes, Baracuda gives more spin and creates it easier in the first attack. Long term i'd give spin to Baracuda for most people. If you never step away from the table, Rakza z is better support. Durability never seems a issue for me as i change...
  4. Has anybody boosted Hammond Z2?

I had a Hammond z2, keyword: had. After boosting it with 1 layer of Seamoon it bubbled.
  5. What forehand rubber should I get as a chopper?

I have a long pips blade, on the other side i have a boosted DHS Goldarc 5 42d Med sponge. You can soak up pressure and chop with so much backspin. attacking was very powerfull with my modified Stiga OC. But it isn't very good for flat hits.
  6. Tenergy 64

a clubmember does, she uses pips bh and t64 2.1 forehand. Her style is flat hits and smashes
  7. Blade n rubber combo

    Skyline 2 is good
  8. Post your latest EJ purchase

Well, i played a few hours/ tournament with the YINHE M202 god of war. What a beast, it is as fast as my Innerforce layer zlc for sure. Slightly faster then my 86g Timo boll alc. I'll be going back to 970xxA and Pro 01, both are better when not in position.
  9. Which blade would be a good transition from all to off?

There is a very good transition no one mentioned, Stiga offensive classic. It is flexible and has a similar feeling, it isn't a thick feeling like Clipper. Of course if you want even more speed just skip OC and go straight to Infinity VPS or Stratus powerwood. All of these blades are good...
  10. New Gold Edition Of DNA Platinum For Free.

Either a scammer, a troll or just someone who has photoshop
  11. Backhand Technique

Most intermediate players have strong forehands, and lack a bit in backhand (myself included) The best advice i've ever gotten for backhand is to trust the progress, buy the rubber that you can handle and practice a lot. My backhand over the time became a lot more stable, mostly from a lot of...
  12. A good downgrade from Fan Zhendong ALC?

I dislike the medium hardness sponge from Rozena on forehand, glayzer is a lot better for forehand. STIGA DNA is also very grippy. I recommend DNA pro H especially. Rozena is good for backhand, but not durable
  13. Tibhar Aurus soft

I would classify Aurus soft as a all+ rubber, i used this for 2 years or so. Speed is semi slow, combine that with the soft sponge makes it quite pleasant the play with. The rubber feels a bit empty, it really doesn't feel as alive as acuda or other similar rubbers. The first openup has a...
  14. How to get better at reading serves and returning them?

My advice is don't overthink, sidespin mostly lands half long so i just attack. If they give short you can be creative, use their spin against them or just push it short. In general the more defensive you play against long sidespin the easier you make it the opponent to attack. Just remember...
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

It feels like a stiff 5 ply on soft shots while not flexing too much when driving and looping. Has so much power while still remaining dwell time for both forehand and backhand. The only blade i can compare this to is W968, but more thick and less headheavy
  16. Post your latest EJ purchase

Took a picture of the top 10 blades i own lmao, before this competition i bought Timo boll alc with Dignics. Yinhe pro 01, 970xxAlc, M202plc. The best of all these is probably Yinhe 970xx Alc.
  17. BH rubber for CPEN

The biggest thing about RPB is in my opinion hardness, a semi tacky hard rubber works best. I haven't played penhold in a long time but i found Yinhe mercury 2 Medium work well. Dirt cheap and works well for block and counter. Feeling is terrible i.m.o. Weight is also very low. For the price of...
  18. What's wrong?

It could be because of a bad batch. But it is much more likely that with some rubbers the ball can fall into the net, not quite slippage as dead rubbers do. You'll notice it the most on forehand topspins that drop below the net. The earlier you take the ball the less you notice this happening...
  19. Uprgrading to a faster and spinnier rubber

I used tibhar aurus for most of my beginner years, i found Donic Bluestorm z1 and Acuda S1 very good. But the softer (2) versions are amazing aswel. More spin, slightly harder and faster!
  20. Help choosing blade!

Yeah in h3llary said in 2022 they changed it. I think it is a good move from Yinhe.
