  1. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Coping much? Ma Long is the GOAT, but give LSD his due. I hate the interview questions pushing Ma Long to retire.
  2. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Beast mode BH from LSD. Legendary comeback from LSD.
  3. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Great tournament, but you gotta be kidding. Environment at the Olympics was insane!
  4. WTT Feeder Doha 2024 Oct 3-6

T-League team NP Mallets have all their players in the SF. Saki Shibata beat 2 CNT players to get there: Zhu Ziyu and Ding Yijie. She will face Ghorpade. Hashimoto and Sato will face off in the other SF of WS.

https://worldtabletennis.com/eventInfo?eventId=2887 https://www.youtube.com/@WTTGlobal A couple days left in this tournament which runs parallel with the China Smash. Top seed in MS is Cedric Nuytinck but he has been eliminated. Oddly enough, Yukiya Uda is ranked higher at WR#40, but he had...

  7. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

SYB beat Miu Hirano when she should have been at her best at the Paris Olympics. Thankfully, Super Hina was able to withstand SYB to grab the bronze. SYB also beat Miwa and Szocs at 2023 Contender Lima. JCH has beaten a lot of good players, but has a ton of trouble against Miwa. I'm not sure...
  8. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Zeio should retire from bashing Hayata, Ito, CIC, and any others I've missed.
  9. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Both are ranked in the top 12 in the world. So it's completely up to them if and when they want to retire.
  10. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

    S. Korea's level is improving. Joo is not far off from SYB, KNY has obviously improved as well so there's going to be some overlap in wins between S. Korea and Japan. There's also the familiarity factor with S. Korean players playing in T-League in previous seasons as well as KNY playing...
  11. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

I wouldn't say the entire match. I also think KNY's service game has gotten considerably stronger forcing errors from Mima. KNY took out Hirano and was playing really well against Mima. Her level has definitely gone up. Mima had to draw upon her years of experience and showed a lot of mental...
  12. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Lots of people talking smack in the chat, but Mima makes a great comeback to shut them up. Great win for Mima!
  13. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Boooom!!! Beat China's WR#1 in China! Amazing job Anders!
  14. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

That doesn't sound like Miwa to say she thought it would have been an easy match. Sounds more like the opinion of the interviewer. Nonetheless, live and learn. These experiences are valuable. I'm sure Miwa will be fine.
  15. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

He's a great coach, happy warrior, who has been with her through thick and thin. Best of luck to him.
  16. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Solid 3-0 win for Miyu Nagasaki over a quality opponent in JJH. She has Chen Yi of China in the next round. Chen Yi is a strong opponent as are all of the Chinese, but a winnable match for Miyu.
  17. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

The story on world-tt.com is that Miwa's T-League team, which includes Hirano, Kihara, and Nagasaki, had a T-League match yesterday, and they got to the hotel in Beijing late at night. Then today, she had a noon match and was tired.
  18. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Ito let her guard down, but she dominated Batra for most of the match. She has NXL in the next round. Mima has beaten NXL 3-0 in the 3 matches they've played.
  19. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

A number of mini surprises so far. HZJ vs. Miwa (3-0), LWS vs QTY (3-2), FSQ vs WYD (3-2). [Edit] I just noticed Polcanova beat Kihara 3-2 :( Incidentally, HZJ and Miwa were actually teammates last season briefly before China pulled back all of their players (except Hao Shuai).
  20. China Smash 2024, Beijing, 9/26-10/6

Do you mean on Infinity arena (side) or other tables (corner)? I'm not a fan of side.
