  1. Which cleaner do you like?

Do you wipe the foam away with the dense foam side?
  2. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

I dont have 09c or access to try it, so cant compare.
  3. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

Have you tried 09c? Might be a stretch, but if you have, how does it compare to bg 38? (Hardness, topsheet feel/tension, etc)
  4. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

Theoretically speaking, do you think I should try Jupiter 37 on backhand, or Jupiter 38 to more directly compare it to bd 38 on backhand? Unless bd comes in 37 deg).
  5. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

I just checked, and Jupiter comes in 37 deg. too. hmmm... Also, does Jupiter 3 come with preglue layer like big dipper?
  6. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

Ak47 is pretty great, but I do have a slight itch to try a semi tacky sort of like dignics. Is there any other decent cheap semi tacky option that might worth taking a look?
  7. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

I have tried mercury 2 (really surprised, awesome semi tacky rubber for $5) and big dipper, but on a for fun chopping setup. From your praise, I want to try Jupiter 3 and compare it with Big Dipper on the same blade to get the best of comparison between the two. I am still thinking should...
  8. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

Oops, I mean stuor, not stuff ( stupid autocorrect). Yeah, was thinking about the long5 clone. (Whatever is 'closest' to w968, if that can be a reality) How is the harimoto szlc? Think it is worth trying compared to long alc?
  9. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

Have you tried any other stuor blades? I am getting some yinhe rubbers soon, was thinking of getting a stuor.
  10. Rubber throw angle topic again.

Brokenball, from my perspective, some of what you say makes sense, but some of what you say is wrong, not practically helpful, or both. That is fine, debate is all about figuring stuff out, but lets at least try to be persuasive in doing so. One big part of being persuasive is to be cordial and...
  11. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

You can't say that definitively. You can have higher speed with the same control if the spin increases with the speed, keeping the same ball arc. Good ball arc corresponds with good control. Another possibility of the meaning of "control" is dwell time. So perhaps they both have the same good...
  12. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

All you have to do is go to where you want the break and hit "enter".
  13. Hurricane H3 with curly tail

It is normal to reverse dome (but that dome is pretty extreme), but it is weird that reapplying layers of seamoon didn't re-dome the rubber especially since this is only the second application. Strange:unsure:
  14. Sanwei target national new version

I think you have said this worry several times in past posts months ago. Don't worry so much about it, just try the thing. I like STN and have said so in the past in several posts. Yes they both have "Target" in the name, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are the same rubber. You simply...
  15. Sanwei target national new version

It depends on your technique, so you may have to adjust. Only way to really know is to try it out yourself (as an EJer a week long test shouldn't be too big a deal, right). But I personally have excellent control, even more than boosted H3 orange sponge. Just be aware that it is a bit heavy, but...
  16. Sanwei target national new version

Try it! I quite like it, I feel like I have a lot of control with the rubber. It might take a week to get used to. IDK about booster, but if you are boosting I think just stick with H3, more durable topsheet in my experience.
  17. Which thickness of rubber would be a good fit for a beginner?

I agree, if you will transition to max later (assuming a standard double inverted play style), I don't see a reason to start with thinner sponge. (I started with thinner sponge and had to change technique later for max sponge). Even with max sponge, you can still choose proper blade and rubber...
  18. Paddles with vibrations

I am not sure what more experienced schools of thought say, but for me the vibrations gives better feedback where you hit the ball on the paddle. This helps with training yourself to contact the ball in the same place, leading to a more consistent stroke. It is also a preference thing too.
