  1. Carbon vs Wood

I tried an incredible number of blades and rubbers in the OFF-/OFF range, but I keep coming back to all-wood blades. Stiga Infinity is a very solid blade for loop and currently trying some 7-ply blades (Xylo 7 and Szocs 1). Yesterday during practise tried ALC inner again, but quickly came...

  4. Differences between Andro's 7-ply blades

Tibhar Scozs Signature 1 might be decent candidate? (think the Dynamic J7 is nearly identical to the Szocs blade) Check out ThePongProfessor's review on YT Testing the Tibhar Bernadette Szocs Signature 1 table tennis blade: 7-ply speed with 5-ply control - YouTube
  5. What is STIGA Cybershape?

I appreciate a good joke and some laughs for sure, but jokes aside, I'm happy to see there is a fresh innovation on equipment. Some of you are already judging without trying out the blade and experience it for yourself. May I remind you, that there have been other innovations which we currently...
  6. choosing a new allwood blade

True. There are exceptions, like Joola Xylo for example. Xylo 5 = 6.9/7.0mm vs Xylo 7 = 6.6/6.7mm. The Xylo 5 uses a thicker core. (source: yogi_bear review)
  7. my new setup, maybe?

Hi Kjell, If you have big hands and looking for a bigger/wider grip, you should avoid Nittaku. Handles of their blades are usually very small/thin. Tibhar Stratus Power Wood is a solid 5 ply all-wood OFF blade with a chunky handle. If you prefer 7 play, the Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition is a...

  10. choosing a new allwood blade

+1 YEO is a hard blade (walnut outer) and pretty fast with low trajectory. Yasaka Sweden Extra is a great 5 ply blade, offering lot's of control at a decent speed.
  11. What is STIGA Cybershape?

Imagine the look on the face of your opponents when you turn up at the table with this blade with colored rubber. 😂

  17. Joola Rhyzen ZGR and CMD Rubbers

Thanks for the review yogi_bear. I'm surprised your following remark: " The Rhyzen ZGR and CMD rubbers while considered as OFF+ rubbers,..."
