No worries. First I used 39 without booster and broke it in by playing with it. Not very pleasant process though. 40 with one initial layer and 39 with one very thin initial layer feels good to me. (I am using haifu seamoon and prefer hard feeling rubber, thus little amount of booster).

Maybe check Hurricane 3 37 or Yinhe Jupiter 2 soft (not 38, soft is softer than Jupiter 2 38, youtube sympaczewski review). On BH I use mostly rubbers with some catapult. I've used to use semi tacky rubber BH but I transitioned to more bouncy rubbers. They seem to fit me a bit more.

Golden Tango PS is much harder and faster. Golden Tango ps seemed spinner to me. I had the fxs for 10-15 minutes. Keep in mind big difference in hardness.

Some things can fix your footwork. Not necessarily the way someone might think, but if your setup spanks your butt for standing in place it might point you in the right direction.

What are you going to loose by trying? Worst case scenario, you don't like it, and going to drink a beer with a friend.

Keep in mind that you want to switch to not only a harder rubber, but also harder and tacky rubber. Tackiness makes the difference too.

Would you really want to risk all that many to get unknown blade from shady guy in dark alley? Butterfly blades are also in the counterfeit dangerzone, but DHS is much harder to get original stuff. Especially those provincial and national stuff. I would consider that option only if I knew exact...

I think that this is wrong angle. You should not have as many blades as your spouse allows, but rather find a spouse that allows you to have as many blades as you want..
