Taichi's trajectory is a bit funny, it does not have tremendous penetrating power but the ball curves high then drop at the end of the table (like a falling leaf). Btw I use it for FH, not RPB, and it increased my total combo weight to 188g

Played a session with it today. Mine is 39in 37 out - topsheet is super sticky, equal to H3 prov neo. I played it unboosted, feeling a bit slow, and the throw angle is higher than H3 that I had a bit trouble blocking. Far from table was good, easier to engage the sponge than H3, but the high end...

sorry I edited my comment, I also do boosting with other rubbers too, not just the H3 sheets which I mainly use. But even if I reboost it weekly it won't become mushy because unlike other boosters, the Haifu National Black won't soften your sponge and it lose its effect very quickly after you...

the haifu national black which I use can last 2-3 weeks, but I just like regluing - reboosting because it is fun :ROFLMAO: actually I do the process weekly but with other rubbers to try new combos, not just a single H3 sheet

yes the sponge and the grippyness of D09c still good for 6 months, same as H3 unboosted. the downside of boosting H3 is that you have to frequently reboost and reglue (I do it weekly :p )

no it's not. The topsheet of H3 stays sticky through its lifespan while the tack of D09c evaporates after 3 weeks

I guess almost all pros use pre-boosted rubbers / self boosted, so boosting is the new norm

which rubber did you apply the booster to? for me it only happen "like this" with H3 blue sponges :ROFLMAO:

I once applied booster without any glue and it became like this. So now I always apply 1 glue layer before boosting.

the topsheet of my H3 pro neo last forever if you clean it and put protective sheet on it after every session. Only the sponge will degrade after about 3-4 months

yeah as Fang Bo said, you have to hit through the ball in order to engage the sponge first, then friction second.

they play very differently, H3 has much higher throw angle, D05 is easier to hit through, D05 easier to counter loop because of its powerful sponge and lower throw. You will have to change your form quite a bit to get used to H3.
