  1. SDC Handmade Blades

I love the classic look!! Nice job.
  2. Need Equipment Help

Was surprised to see a thread with this tile and the name UpSideDownCarl, so I had to check it out. Not disappointed :) Point well made and so true in 9/10 equipment-info requests unfortunately. PS: Use the Nittaku Risoud Carbon and your ranking will increase by at least 200 points easily.
  3. SDC Handmade Blades - Some Impressions / Short Review

These blades sure look nice! The Innegra Inner sounds pretty decent and I like the layers , although personally I don't like white color handles.
  4. Soulspin W968

Nice! Please keep us updated how it plays :)
  5. A rubber between MX-P and EL-S

Carl, what's the thickness of your R48?
  6. A rubber between MX-P and EL-S

Completely true and that's the downside asking advice on a forum/platform like this. Think we can all agree that your primairy source for equipment advice should be a coach from your own club. A person who actually knows your level of playing, knows your strenghts and weaknesses, your style etc...
  7. A rubber between MX-P and EL-S

So, before I post a question about equipment, you expect me to write aan essay on my technique, my experience with previous equipment, showing tons of footage of me playing, etc etc ? I have the biggest respect for you guys, as active members like you keep a forum alive and providing advice to...
  8. A rubber between MX-P and EL-S

I suggest to end this off-topic discussion, as this doesn't help the TS and/or other members interested in TS' question. Thanks. Let's get back on-topic. I'm surprised to see no one mentioned Vega X (or maybe I overlooked it). It feels softer than the 47.5 would suggest but still firmer...
  9. Yasaka Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard rubbers

Giving a rubber a certain speed-label depends on your reference. Many reviews lack vital additional information to make the review actually useful. I'm currently testing both Vega X (1.8mm) and Rakza Z (2mm)on a Hugo SAL. Only played approx. 5hrs so far, so still not enough playtime for a...
  10. Xiom Hugo SAL and 36.5 Deep Impact ALX

I disagree. The build quality of the SAL is actually very good. It's on the same level as BTY. Only remark I have, is that the wings are not sanded, but that's an easy and quick fix.
  11. Stiga Infinity VPS V

Used Infinity VPS for several years and still use it now and then. This is not an allround blade if you use EUR/JPN rubbers. Sure, as an all-wood blade it's not as fast as Boll ALC or other carbon/arylate blades, but if your gameplay is mainly attacking with topspin, it's a great blade. It gives...
  12. Xiom Hugo SAL and 36.5 Deep Impact ALX

HAL will be available mid July. SAL will be discontinued indeed.
  13. Andro Rasanter R48 - Suitable for whom

Anyone able to compare R48 and Rakza Z?
  14. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

July 01 for us yoass ;) Can't wait to try my new equipment: Hugo SAL + Vega X (BH) + Rakza Z (FH)
  15. Yasaka Rakza Z and Rakza Z Extra Hard rubbers

Hi yogi_bear, how is the speed of Rakza Z compared to Vega X and does the hardness feels somewhat same ? (or does one feel softer vs the other?) Thanks!
  16. Xiom Hugo SAL and 36.5 Deep Impact ALX

Thanks for the review Yogi. Much appreciated. Think @chintanmashroo is correct. The pictures are showing the HAL. By the way, are SAL and HAL indeed the same blades? (according to a large EU TT webshop, the composition is the same but the feel and bounce are different)
  17. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

I'm getting curious ;) Could someone please post the link to the new Xiom catalogue? Thanks.
  18. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

Possibly just a redesigned Ma Lin Soft Carbon?
