  1. Match video: Thoughts please

To me it looks like there is no plan after the service. You just bring the ball (with very little to none effect) in to the game. Try variations in effect, speed and placement with your serve. After a while you will notice that x out of 10 times, your opponents return is often the same on a...
  2. What do you prefer? Chinese Rubber vs European Rubbers?

Tried chinese a couple of times, but simply can't get used to them. The ones I tried were stated as "soft", but still too hard for my liking. My FH swing looks more like chinese then euro play though. I prefer soft rubbers (or at least soft topsheet) to lift the ball and generate as much...
  3. Soft Rubber for BH?

The above responses about traning and technique are valid. Nevertheless, just answering the question: I would throw in the Rhyzm 375 in max. Soft and very spinny rubber which suits a controlled offensive play very well.
  4. Butterfly New Products 16 September 16

The IFL-ALC.S sounds interesting. OMG....design of the shoes looks terrible. As if the BTY logo isn't well known enough, they put the name (not very subtle) on top as well.
  5. New Rule Approved! Coaching Between Points 2016!

This is for sure the most bizarre and worst rule and clearly shows the incompetence of the ITTF. I expect that this rules will not be used to actually coach the player, but rather to frustrate or irritate the opponent; especially in the lower divisions.
  6. STIGA Genesis Soft & Medium Rubber Review

    Very nice review guys! Thanks!
  7. How to glue and what glue is the best?

I prefer Revolution 3 and Nittaku Finezip, which are both great in doing their jobs. Rubbers stick good but are also easily removed if needed. 1 layer on the rubber if it's a used rubber and 2 layers if it's a new one. In both cases just 1 layer on the blade.
  8. Table Tennis VS Football (VIDEO)

Amazing video! Great tricks from both teams. :) :)

  10. Rhyzm Tech

    Rhyzm Tech

Another chapter in the success story of the popular Rhyzm rubber is written by the JOOLA Rhyzm-Tech. Due to modifications of the sponge, which has again been designed with considerably larger pores, a real catapult machine has been developed. The JOOLA Rhyzm-Tech is a rubber that supports any...
  11. TOP 10 Table Tennis Trick Shots of 2015! (VIDEO)

Nice post! Best shot is #2 in my opinion, as I prefer seeing awesome shots in actual matchplay :)
  12. Butterfly New products: Bryce Highspeed Rubber

The new Bryce rubber is already available on butterfly online. (in Germany also) Price is the same as the Tenergy rubbers. Check this link: http://de.butterfly.tt/bryce-highspeed.html
  13. Stiga vps v and rhyzm p

Not sure about the Rhyzm P, but I'm using Infinity with Rhyzm 425 on both sides for a couple of months now and this is very good setup. The blade provides a lot of control and Rhyzm is not very sensitive for spin. Looping underspin is pretty easy and amount of effect in topspin is huge...
  14. what happened on friday

@sebas-aguirre, thanks for sharing this story. Fun to read it :)
  15. Advice on my strokes?

Totally agree with UpSideDownCarl. For just 6 months of lessons you play nicely indeed. It all comes down to practice, practice, practice and practice. And then some more practice ;)
  16. Advice on my strokes?

Thanks for sharing this vid! I agree with the advice already given about your pushes. Some additional input: when you push with FH, don't just slide your arm out to the ball. Positition of your body is key in tabletennis. Furthermore, while you play BH pushes, your trainer of partner isn't...
  17. Deciding on a blade

Yes, although not for a long time (2 seasons). Used it with T05 but that combo didn't work for me. For my gameplay and level, it's a bit too fast. Changed it to Boll ZLF and this blade suited my gameplay better.
  18. Deciding on a blade

@UpSideDownCarl and @Der_Echte....your posts are actually not relevant. In my opinion it's not up to you why TS would need a faster blade. Hence, if I would like to buy the fastest blade on earth and would like some blade suggestions, so be it. Even if I know I would not be able to control such...
  19. "Best" glue advice

After trying several WBG like Nittaku Finezip, VarioClean, TSP, Andro, etc, Revolution 3 (medium) is by far my favorite. Easy to apply, rubbers stick well (I never use some kind of press), easy to remove rubbers from the blade and easy to remove glue from the rubber. For new rubbers I apply 2...
  20. Butterfly.tt massive announcement in 2 days?

Yes, he used to use the Boll ALC and yes he is already using the new blade. At least during the Bulgarian Open. It's clearly visible in this vid: Looking at the specs on butterly.co.jp , they are the same as Boll ALC, so I think it's actually the same blade with a slihtly different handle...
