  1. MA LONG - THE GOATEST of all GOATS

NL and Ba’al are right of course. As a rallier, though, I actually think it’s become more fun to play. Or a bit less frustrating anyway.
  2. Equipment Help Needed - Trying to Get Back Into TT

Nothing wrong with neither Viscaria nor Tenergy 05 once the basic gameplay is stable enough to master it. That being said, I’d say it’s wiser not to shoot for the moon immediately. I like that suggestion of the Stiga OC with Rakza 7. In the same vein, I like the Yasaka Sweden Extra, the Xiom...

Here’s me wishing Timo a blazing final.
  4. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

Well, if Franz doesn't finish it I'd say Dima will.
  5. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

There’s no such thing as no chance in TT. A touch of mid-game diarrhea would be more than enough to, erm, turn the tides.
  6. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

LSS showed great resilience in the 4th. Respect!
  7. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

Gross? Hmm. Merely human (even if it’s just shenanigans). In the former case, just human; in the latter case, human and despicable.
  8. Setup for limited mobility

Yes. Pushing straight, or swiping at the ball. I think some call it “bumping”.
  9. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

They stole that title by cheating rather than winning it in fair play. I have not forgotten that.
  10. Setup for limited mobility

That last remark highlights a positive stroke. Pushblockers can do insane things to a ball, especially when fed with backspin. I understand (to some extent) the limits posed by arthritis. Hopefully the OP is able to twiddle; if not, it will be excruciatingly hard to deal with lobbing opponents.
  11. MA LONG - THE GOATEST of all GOATS

Waldner (and company) broke the CNT dominance and more or less left it in the dust for a decade or so. In doing that, they pushed envelopes and accelerated developments already budding end 70s to fruition. They paved the way, as rolemodels as well as opponents, sparring partners and later as...
  12. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

I really don’t hate being able to told-you-so once or twice the next few days.
  13. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

I actually thought Ma Long’s performance against Dima was of the highest caliber. Impressive, especially in the decider. Still not counting him out.
  14. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

I find the lack if public content appalling; there’s next to nothing out there. I wonder how this “milk it!” approach rhymes with the olympic spirit.
  15. SDC Handmade Blades

Now that’s an exciting design. I’m guessing it has a low balance, with a relatively heavy handle?
  16. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

    Close, but no cigars.
  17. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

FZD gave his all, but ML may not have shown his ultimate form yet. I think the pressure’s higher for FZD; he has everything to win, with ML having nothing to lose. Also, I expect if there’s any opponent out there that puts unrest in FZD’s mind, that would be ML. I’ll not count ML out just...
  18. Tokyo 2020 | 2020/7/24-8/9

Just looking at the scores reveals a level match. Yet FZD was the one closing it; good for him. LYY will no doubt learn and grow even stronger from this hair-thin defeat.

    W00t? Where?
