  1. Is my strength also my biggest weakness?

Since posting this question, I'm just watching the Men's CNT play, particularly their return strategy. I see they really use the push a lot on return. They either try to push short or hard long. So I'm wondering how important it really is to attempt the 2nd ball attack. Also even on the 3rd...
  2. Now testing: Battle Max, Rxton 3 Pink, Dynaryz ZGX, and Rhyzen ZGX

What's your durometer reading of LAC? 51-52d sounds fairly soft. When I test it, it comes out 57d, same as LAC. So either my sheet is harder, or I'm pushing a lot harder on my durometer.
  3. Now testing: Battle Max, Rxton 3 Pink, Dynaryz ZGX, and Rhyzen ZGX

Why do you think it's good on stiff blade? i was thinking the opposite. Right now, I have it on the Sanwei 75 inner, but I actually think it would be better on a softer limba blade, to give it more catch.
  4. Now testing: Battle Max, Rxton 3 Pink, Dynaryz ZGX, and Rhyzen ZGX

I think next time I should get the blue one. I really wish I knew what 2T technology meant.
  5. Ratings System New Players

I think about 50. If they were higher rated than you, youd probably get 100
  6. Table Tennis Dilemma: Strengthening Backhand or Changing Playstyle? [I chose strengthening]

Definitely just practice your backhand non-stop. There was a season where I felt like my backhand would just never work. After hitting 10000 backhands shots, it feels normal to me now.
  7. Need rubber recommendations for my new blade

H3/GA8 make sense. if you want to go cheaper, Jupiter 3/Moon 12 is pretty much just as good at a fraction of the cost.
  8. Would you like to see ELO ratings applied to pro players?

I agree! Does anybody have the link to that Andro ELO tracker? Did Ayhika get a lot of points for her big win?
  9. H3 not so tacky?

Victas Triple Double is very tacky
  10. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

If you're gonna dish it, then you can take it. If players outside 150 can win matches against top Chinese players, then it isn't "nearly impossible" as you claim.
  11. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

Yes, apparently CNT is considering replacing Ma Lin with Tony to coach the women's team to new heights. Remember, CNT has so much special treatment that it is almost impossible even for elite players to beat them. Only players outside top 150 have a chance to win matches against them.
  12. Rosewood top ply

Why do you want to switch from the 968? Isn't that supposed to be the best blade available? I hope you upload your match video sometime, 2250 is very good
  13. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

If low ranked players beat the #1 player in the world based on that single technology, I think that would be a legitimate complaint Ayhika is not even ranked in the top 150, and she beat world #1. Apart from 1 really bad game, she basically won 3-0.
  14. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

Place your bets. Wang Manyu vs Antispin. Will she handle it better than SYS. WMY took a very long stare looking at her opponent's rubber
  15. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

What happened to all the experts saying "its impossible to beat Chinese"? I guess its not that hard if you use antispin.
  16. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

I guess India is now the best country in the world. Ban Antispin
  17. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

See that's what's stupid. preparing for LP or antispin is a full time job. You would need months of preparation and training to really understand every detail of how the rubber responds. But they may face 20 different players. There's no way to prepare for every version of unusual rubber...
  18. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

Greatest talent I have ever seen! Amazing skill to defeat the current/former world #1. Ayhika will be favorite to win the Olympics.
  19. ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan 2024

If Ayhika wins, she is the best player in the world and will be favorite to win the Olympics. I'm so sick of these players coming out of nowhere with some random rubber setup that nobody has practiced against. It's just not fair. Everybody should have the same type of rubber in the same event...
