  5. Hugo Calderano on Team Xiom

The Canadian guy actually played quite well. It wasn't one sided slaughter. He just had worse game. It happens :| I am actually quite suprised because he won 2 games against Calderano. It's an achievement I think.
  6. Recommend a forehand rubber

Just following up my previous post with zeropong response. So I guess that's opposite of what you want :(
  7. I qualified for College Nationals, help

It is an amazing opportunity but it's an 2-3 years old opportunity. The OP posted in 2018 :)
  8. Recommend a forehand rubber

Oh my bad. It seems that they discontinued it, or at least changed the name. I bought mine in December on the zeropong. Oh Toro sounds a lot like thor though. I will ask them directly and share the response.

  10. No Arms Table Tennis Player Ibrahim Hamato vs TableTennisDaily’s Dan!

Maximum respect. I love his determination. BTW what kind of rubbers were he using? The whole thing sounded like hardbat, so I assume it was either something with very thin sponge or ox pimpes?
  11. Xiom Omega 7 Hyper and Vega X

    (not mine video just linking)
  12. Recommend a forehand rubber

Have you tried any of those? My suggestion might a pretty unpopular one, buy I am flabagestered by the Gambler Burst Thor Hammer. I've been using it last month. It's hybridy type of rubber. I think it lies more on the hard rubber side though. It has no perceivable tack, the bell does not stick...
  13. Chinese forhand rubber + semi-tacky backhand rubber

Pingponghouse on facebook ships it worldwide for 6$, whereas the rubber itself costs 21$ there. You can also get some friends to order too, so costs, can be shared.
  14. Service receive: Soft x Hard rubber

For me serve receive is not a passive stroke. I do positive stabby motion on FH and choppy motion on backhand :| I have no preference regarding hardness though :/ It have been easier for me if the rubber was tacky though.
  15. Learning Tomahawk Serve Like Dimitrij Ovtcharov

Great video as always, is this serve legal though. Shoudn't the toss be almost vertical? (2.6.2. in ittf handbook).
  16. Reccomendation for TT Shoes.

Question to asics owners, do your shoes "hurt" when cold? I've had this issue during late autumn if I left the shoes in the car, but now I sometimes play in unheated environment and this issue came back. Any ideas how to mitigate? Or is this just how the gel padding works and I should just use...
  17. How can a harder rubber be slower than a soft one?

Other way of the explaining thing is to think of the sponge as compression spring. The softer the spring the less force you have to use to compress it, but also the lower energy it will release. The harder the spring, the more energy it can store, but the harder it is to compress it. If you...
  18. Hugo Calderano on Team Xiom

Is it inner or outer fiber blade? I can't see that on the attached photo.
  19. What is the best way to learn serves for kids?

Toss I think is one of the very important pieces of serve. It helps with generating spin. Learning hiting ball through serve should also help develop timing, no?
  20. Critique my technique and my match

You can also check 10 minute toughness book. It might help you with being down in sitiations like the one you described.
