  1. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

Possibly, but it really only applies if you are making strong full strokes
  2. chinese or hybrid rubbers for jpen?

    Use the bluestar!
  3. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

I think inner 75 pairs best with hard rubbers. It has a very light, airy, trampoline feeling. If you use a tensor, its too much of that airy trampoline feel. Using a harder rubber tames it a bit.
  4. Glue usage reduction 😁

is this really a glue? somebody gave this to me, but it seems like it's more of a booster. It doesn't seem to have much stickiness at all
  5. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

I told you the 75 inner is very nice. I personally still feel more catch with the Stuor Harimoto, but the 75 inner is quite high up there. What's your USATT level about?
  6. Rxton 5 Pro

So I tested the double boosted Rxton 3 today. I think maybe its almost too fast. It feels very much like a tensor rubber. It's fast on smashes and loops, but the control maybe is a bit low. I'm gonna try my baby oil trick on it to see if I can increase the dwell time. I will report back.
  7. Rxton 5 Pro

Cool. I might like to get the W81 inner or the King Throne. Not sure the difference between those and the regular K5 is though. How much do you think these will be on Ali?
  8. Rxton 5 Pro

Is that a Viscaria clone? Which is their HL5 clone?
  9. Glue usage reduction 😁

Yes, of course. Why would you glue outside
  10. Butterfly Harimoto ALC Chinese alternative (DHS, Yinhe, etc.)

Honestly I just can't find a blade with a better combination of catch and rebound. HL5 catches the ball nearly as well, but doesn't launch the ball with as much power. Harimoto ALC seems stiffer and doesn't catch the ball as well.
  11. Rxton 5 Pro

Haven't tried this, but I tried the original T3. T3 was fast bh rubber, very good for blocking and punching/driving. But the toopsheet was rather smooth and lacked grip, so I always felt it was harder to loop and flick
  12. Butterfly Harimoto ALC Chinese alternative (DHS, Yinhe, etc.)

Has anybody tested his findings? According to his tests, the Harimoto ALC is significantly faster than the HL5.

  14. Butterfly Harimoto ALC Chinese alternative (DHS, Yinhe, etc.)

Its the most famous. Wouldnt say its definitely the best. To me, Stuor Harimoto is the best
  15. G7

Wow, Harimoto won 16-14 in G7 over Togami at the All Japan. Very tight final game. Togami had his chances to close out the match, but Harimoto held his nerve.

  17. Rxton 5 Pro

Have you tried boosting the LAC? LAC is good, but not being able to boost really takes away from its potential. GTX boosted is better than unboosted LAC in my experience
  18. Rxton 5 Pro

The Rxton 3 Pro is quite good. I still think the GTX is better, but they seem to be very similar. LAC unboosted is still the best, but the downside is that it seems like it doesn't take on booster well. I don't see why that would be the case, but a number of users have reported that it bubbles...

DHS Fang Bo/HL5 Stuor Harimoto clone Yinhe Pro 05 Sanwei Paramid
  20. Rxton 5 Pro

Well on PrinceTT, it goes for $33. So much less than the W81
