https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByukUwAQrQg So, not only do THEY look fast, they are in fact even faster, if they are post-poning the backswing... I want to be faster. I want to be Bubba-fast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb3UrJjAac4
  2. Advantages tacky hybird rubbers

Yeah, it's possible. I can only say that Rising dragon felt softer than Rakza Z. Absolutely. Top-sheet matters. The whole combo matters. I wrote it mainly to counter that fear of hard rubbers (>= 50)...
  3. Advantages tacky hybird rubbers

Yasaka Rising Dragon and Shining Dragon are hybrids with softer sponges. I don't have precise numbers but I think Rising Dragon is around 48 and Shining Dragon around 46. I played with Rising shortly, it has big spin potential. Don't worry about the hardness only. I was often told that it is...
  4. Compare boll alc with treiber co

On another forum I read the Treiber compositions are as follows. Adding Viscaria and IF ALC for reference: Treiber KKotoKVLAyousKiriAyousKVLKotoTreiber CO OFF/SLimbaKVLAyousKiriAyousKVLLimbaTreiber CI OFFLimbaAyousKVLAyousKVLAyousLimbaViscaria, TB/ZJK/LGY...
  5. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

I couldn't decipher why you didn't like H37 on BH, so I'm curious whether the booster will answer or deepen that mystery :-) When you are at it, what about the H40 :-) :-) Sincere apologies, it is your thread. I couldn't resist asking. But it was short intermezzo, my hunger is satisfied. On my...
  6. Seeking OFF inner carbon blade with good feel / control

I think there are 2 problems: 1. that the account that has been removed/unregistered can still post (there should some flag in it, which would prevent it) 2. that you as admin now don't know the original name (that is a loss of useful info) Imo, that is what Kuba means just in different words...
  7. Seeking OFF inner carbon blade with good feel / control

You beat me to it: When I read the suggestions, some of them I know worked for me too, most of them I know zero about, and some of them I know they didn't work for me, and yet they worked for the one who suggested it, because we all tend to honestly suggest what worked for us. But that's about...
  8. Seeking OFF inner carbon blade with good feel / control

If you are not yet familiar with ttgearlab, I really recommend to go over their comparisons. This will give you at least approx. picture of how the blades relate to each other, and then you can maybe estimate what kind of blade you'd like. Then you may also better sort in all the given...
  9. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

Hi IB66, this is a great read, thanks. R48 seems to be highly valued, so the comparison is very interesting. H37 opening loop feels indeed good, this "sinking". I thought that in BH to BH drive rally against "tenergies" the H37 would be in disadvantage, but it is to be seen. I also noticed...
  10. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

I wouldn't worry about it. I mean, what exploratory options do you have left? :-)
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

You're right, it should be taken so. I can follow. Not recognizing myself helps definitely a lot in keeping good mood :-).

Actually I think langel has important point, at least for topspin against block/drive - it makes you go lower. If I remember, Dima Ovtcharov also stressed it. Edit: I mean, I also first thought it is a bit nit-picking, but later realized it's not.
  13. Pro vs Amateur: Zhang Jike vs Club Player 2021!

If he would suffer a minor temporary memory loss and then wake up, ala Jason Bourne, and then by accident get involved in some TT matches. That would be ultra massive 😀 Edit: I suggest Der_Echte and Carl for the 2 bad cops...

The explanations are very helpful, very good video. Thanks.
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Left-right or bottom-up? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlBd0LWP6lM In many other videos of ML doing BH he uses more bottom-up for the lower body, not much or no hip rotation. Do you think it is simply his way of BH stroke? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2V40bnQdtzg...
  16. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

What hardness do you prefer most on BH (assuming boosted)? I see you use Rakza Z and R48 too. Can you compare those to the H3 briefly? (I've used Rakza Z, but not R48). What is your preferred BH rubber?
  17. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

When I play FH topspin the ball flies more (far) when playing with H41 in compare to H37, similarly for drive and for BH topspin and drive. What do you mean when you say that H37 doesn't really work on butterfly? Too slow?
  18. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

Recently glued H3N H41 2.2 comm. black (FH) and H3N H37 2.15 comm. red (BH), both slightly boosted with 2 thin layers of Falco (not massive doming). The H41 is faster, still they feel similar, like family. I used to have Battle 2 H39 BS, which is good, and I knew I wanted a bit harder on FH. I...
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I want to live in paradise! I can't comment on the elbow in BH. What I noticed is that it helps me to hit the ball little bit more on the left side (which for you means right side) in compare to the BH drive (which is more in the middle of the body). Then the (rel. small) waist rotation better...
  20. Forehand transition analysis

Hi Nikolai, the feeling of stiffness comes when the only thing we move is the arm, by using mostly shoulder muscles. There is opposite extreme, see the toy at 3:24 in this video. And 8:05-8:26 - the arm should not try to do anything while swinging. HTH. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DL5CTIoHY5U
