  1. local tournament - my results

Too many mistakes in your 3rd round match buddy. :) Great effort nonetheless. You just having problems these sort of alternative players. Playing against long pips and antis can be daunting, especially if you're not use to play against them. These players uses spin reversal and floaters to...

  3. I need some help in executing slow spinny loops

This is what I normally do. I bend my knees, really low, especially my right knee (I'm a righty). Most players would wait for the ball to drop a little below the table, open up their racket and brush the ball. What I do on the other hand is that I hit the ball at table height, never below the...
  4. Training without effects!

Nervousness? :) Multiballs are good for coordination, but what you really need is probably more game simulations. Get a partner, serve like you usually do in a match, and play to finish the point. You don't have to keep score. You can even ask a partner to return the serve to a particular area...
  5. Game Style )

Nice BH, but he needs to be patient a little. He also needs a bit of work on his footwork. He looks like an all out an out offensive player, but he needs to polish up his attack.

  9. How many loops do you hit in practice?

No mate, I didn't mean that at all...:) I'm just saying that he's a good TT player, that's all haha Usually if someone counter your loop, they will always have their favorite spot to hit, maybe your FH or BH. You can predict after a while coz they often fall into a pattern.
  10. Brazil Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

I'm rooting for a OH/Ryu to win the mens doubles!! hehe
  11. Everyone has a weakness!

My biggest weakness is FOOD!! I can't resist eating, and gained 2inches around my waist and it's affecting my TT!! hehehe
  12. Michael Maze sleeveless shirt

I think a Maori tattoo would do nicely Matt :D LOL
  13. How many loops do you hit in practice?

No worries mate. Matt has loads of experience, and it's worth to sit up and take notice what he said.:) He's 22 yrs old now, when he said when he was younger, that was only a few years back!! hehehe I'm sure all the trainings he did when he was 'younger' are still fresh in his mind. About your...
  14. I need some help in executing slow spinny loops

It's true, taking the ball off the bounce is a whole lot more controllable. Which means, it's easier to keep the ball low. Soft hands with light grip on the paddle is the way to do it. If anyone wants to take the ball at the highest point, it's best to topspin the ball back.
  15. How many loops do you hit in practice?

Hahahaha!!!LOL I think that pretty much covered all aspects, and then some!! 3 or 4 of the items listed clearly reflects how I play now!! hahaha LOVE IT BRO!!!
  16. How many loops do you hit in practice?

Let me tell you this buddy. I've seen countless intermediate and beginners having problems finishing a point. :) You see them at the warm up table with perfect strokes, but once when it really matters, they have problems hitting good shots. They may be able to get 2 loops in, but the opponents...
  17. Brazil Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

I think Oh will do better than Ryu here because of his economical playing style. Having to fly in from asia into Brazil, the asian players might have some issues concerning jet lag.
  18. My latest training Match (backhand looping)

That's what I meant Matt, a mock matchplay. :) But don't stand all the way at edge on the left side, Renz (where you normally would in a game), a little bit to the middle of the table (open your BH side a bit more)where at you may be able to loop balls coming on to your body or slightly to the...

  20. How many loops do you hit in practice?

Matt is quite right. I myself don't really know how many loops I do in training. I usually do it as part of my warm up routine. But since you mentioned consistency I would say 50 with easy looping (staying at the same spot) is very do-able with a good blocker, but intense looping with footwork...
