  1. Tibhar Bss vs victas SWAT vs sanwei fextra

I think he meant Xiom Offensive S. For classic blades (all wood) Xiom has Xiom Allround S (All+), Xiom Offensive S (Off- / Off) and Xiom Extreme S (Off / Off+). S probably stands for Standard (not sure, I am only guessing). For BSS, he meant Tibhar Bernadette Szocs Signature 1 (usually called...
  2. FZD rumor

@NextLevel I understand your argument, but you missed my point. We all know that CNT wanted SYS to win, but Cheng Meng refused to obey. FZD could be in the same situation. By logic, CNT want WCQ to win. So it's up to FZD to obey or not. If FZD decides to return to CNT, he might be in the...
  3. FZD rumor

I don't think FZD should return to CNT. Let's say he is back and make it to the Olympics, and then in the final he faces WCQ. Who do you think the CNT would pick as the winner? If I were him, I would just enjoy my freedom now and don't care about CNT anymore.
  4. Which rubbers to primorac jp after 1 year of training

When you change your equipment, try not to change both blade and rubbers at the same time. So I guess, you can still use your old rubbers: Rakza 7 for FH and Rakza 7 Soft for BH. See if you like them on your new Primorac JP. If you like them, then fine, you don't need to spend extra money...
  5. Got a spare blade, wich one should i use for training, and wich should i use for competition?

I have read that few players like to alternate their blades so that both are broken in almost exactly the same. So during crucial moment when you have to switch blade (let's say your primary one is broken) then you have less to zero adaptation. I think this is true, because I own few of the...
  6. Table tennis is getting fun!!!!

@pedro.dantas Just curious, has Hugo recent success translated to the rise of table tennis popularity in Brazil?
  7. LF Butterfly SK7 Classic

SK7 Classic is ~ BTY Korbel SK7 ~ Stiga Clipper Wood. They are similar. The difference is the headsize (based on my observation on my Korbel SK7 vs my Clipper Wood). I read that Joola is re-arranging their products (so it might be discontinued now), but Joola Viva is another excellent 7-ply...
  8. New blade to be released by Stiga this month

So, if it's for all-wood players who want to use carbon blade, then I assume it is more into control blade (although it is faster, of course) ??? I think if it's that pricey, at least the QC must be excellent. I have not tried any newer Stiga blades, but the last one that I tried (quite some...
  9. Modern Sibling of Persson Powerplay???

Construction wise, they are similar (according to me). The differences are: 1. BL7 is a bit thinner (~0.2 mm) although its description said that the thickness is 5.9 mm (which is the same as PPP) 2. BL7 has bigger head size. Andro said it is 157 x 150 mm but looking at the picture above, the...
  10. Modern Sibling of Persson Powerplay???

Especially for @Der_Echte and @JJ Ng, I have been itching to post this for quite a long time, but I never get the chance to take pictures to support my post. Basically, when I read description of Andro Gauzy BL7, it reminds me of Donic Persson Powerplay (both have "foils"). According to...
  11. Quadri Aruna losing to LP

Now I am seriously thinking of switching to the DARK SIDE..... and start competing in WTTC and ITTF events..... and beat the hell of Top 20 players using my "INCORRECT RUBBER"
  12. Differences between Sanwei Target National and Victas Triple Double Extra?

I was very surprised to see @TensorBackhand answered this question, as for me, I don't even know what the OP is asking. Few replies ahead, it became clear now.
  13. How long does a blade lasts?

I don't question how long my blade will last........ It is my cheating heart that I am concerned with...... ah... so many blades out there... so little time....
  14. Joola upcoming blades 2025

Hi, I am bringing this thread up again to see if there are any progress regarding Joola upcoming blades 2025. By the way, I like 2 old Joola blades: 1. Joola Viva 2. Joola Rossi Emotion What will be the equivalent of those 2 blades in the new line up? Thank you.
  15. Should a beginner-intermediate player play with intermediate equipment or just grow into high level equipment?

Long long time ago, while lurking at various TT forums (I forget which one) I remember reading something like this: In South Korea, they give Butterfly Korbel (made in Japan) to youngster. Even Oh Sang Eun switched back to Korbel after a brief venture using carbon blade, and played better...
  16. What's the best Butterfly off wood blade?

Yeah, Butterfly Petr Korbel for 5-ply allwood Butterfly Korbel SK7 or Butterfly SK7 Classic for 7-ply allwood.
  17. Does anybody know any Chinese baldes that are Limba-Limba-ayous-Limba-Limba similar to Korbel and Primorac?

Xiom Offensive S and Tibhar Stratus Power Wood are usually compared to BTY Korbel. Gewo Zoom Pro Off- is more similar to BTY Primorac Off- (at least in between Primorac and Korbel). I don't know about Chinese blades similar to Korbel, but I assumed you want to get a cheaper Korbel. Well...
  18. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Ordinary Butterfly Korbel is limba - limba - ayous core - limba - limba. Korbel Speed is different. The outerply is Koto
  19. Which 7ply wood blade after Clipper?

I have used BTY Korbel SK7 and Clipper Wood. For me, Clipper Wood is more alive (has more kick during hard shot, while my Korbel SK7 is more linear). My Korbel SK7 is 92-93 grams but amazingly does not feel heavy (very balanced). Although the thickness is similar to my 6.6 mm Clipper Wood...
  20. Which 7ply wood blade after Clipper?

If you can get the blade (it is not widely sold), I suggest Avalox P700 or Avalox BT777. It is the older Clipper replica. Thickness is around 6.2 - 6.3 mm. Older Clipper was made in that thickness (not the 7.0 mm or the current 6.6 mm). I even say that they are the better Clipper.
