I don't think any changes were made to the bat or rubber. Asian rubbers have a lot grip, more than many european rubbers have. And even with european rubbers you can get that backspin in the ball like the guy in the video.

Even if i want Ovtcharov to win, I think FZD will make it before Ma Long (2nd rank) because he'll do very hard training lessons just on Ma Long's technique and how to beat him and finally in the final match he'll do it!

I glue my rubbers once and wear them until they're warn out. I'm not a fan of glueing them so often ;)

I just serve like this! It's a good method to get a better angle when serving. And you can use your wrist, so you'll have more speed on the ball ;)

My class thought that at first,too but then on an excursion I played table tennis with my french teacher(they don't like her) and let her run for the ball in front of them. They couldnt stop theirselves from laughing, so I think they like it now ;P
