  1. Slovenian Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

I was kinda disappointed that the big man is not playing. He yet to play in Europe this year. I hope LGL won't forget him this 2012, coz he still has a lot to offer, especially being such a good trooper for China.
  2. tenergy 05 and going for something else

Sorry El...hahaha too lazy to browse the earlier post :)
  3. Best backhand rubber you've used on a Medium Hard Blade?

Yeah buddy, they're right. The rubbers they suggested are soft and if you are still finding your BH loop, softer rubbers are the way to go. Richard are right when he said to keep at it. Don't avoid you BH, use the BH loop every time you have the chance.
  4. Who has the best forehand?

I'm biased, Wang liqin!!! hahaha my favourite player.
  5. tenergy 05 and going for something else

You don't have to boost the rubber buddy....The name happens to be Boost. :) They have Stiga Boost TS/TP/TX
  6. need advice for new setup

Funny you should ask this. Normally I wouldn't know what type of short pips are good. But this is your lucky day. I just got back from a hit out at another club, and the guy I was playing against uses 729 Friendship 802-40 short pips rubber for his BH. The amount of spin he generated was...
  7. Japan National Championships 2012

Wish you could be there and be her shoulder to cry on, don't you SC....hahaha :O
  8. Myles' Journey in China

You mean, you're willing to go back into uni just so you could play in the 2013 edition? hahaha I wish I could do that..
  9. What brings you luck?

Yeah Matt, that is true you know. He earned many new fans, especially here. I was rooting for him to win the tourney after he won against Jike. Though Jike just rolled over and play dead, I can't take anything away from Joo. RESPECT!!! :)
  10. Adidas Promotion in our gym!! =)

They're really going all out with this, and they have the game. Interesting to know if they're produced in the same factory, the ESN in Germany.
  11. 2012 Hungary Open Stats

Thanx for the stats TT Guru. I have one suggestion, though it is a little over the top. Do you think you can come up with stats of forced/unforced errors against winners for a tournament? I know it's a massive task, but at times I am kinda curious. :)
  12. Hungarian Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

I know the two who voted for Joo, Yosua and yourself naturally. :) Kinda curious who was the other though.
  13. Tips: Watch opponent paddle/ball or both?

Welcome to the forum Culaopho!! :) About your question, Rhydian is quite right. For starters, watch the serves. People might argue, "most TT players feint their serves and it's difficult to tell". If you play against really good players, you will have that problem. If I were to play the top 50...
  14. I need help with my blade

If you're comfortable with Cayman and it's characteristics, I say go for it buddy. The blade is rigid, and should go well with srivers. You see, srivers were made during the speed glue era, and I'm telling you, it's a real bad boy. You can attack, block, chop...pretty much do anything with the...
  15. Testing out Dian Chi booster (from china)

GONG XI FA CHAI to you too :)
  16. Boll-Book- English Summary

That is a real shame. They could've gotten a lot bigger market if they do, more sales means more money. Huge market in China, GB and Asia in general. What are the odds meeting a German speaking Chinese? :0
  17. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

Good point Raga4. Yeah, you did mention that the place didn't have VOC free glue available. In terms of performance, there's nothing come close to speed glue. I grew up using the stuff for decades. I bet if the ban is lifted (in la la land:)), everyone would switch back to it in a heart beat...
  18. I need help with my blade

Yakisoba, what William said was spot on. Blocking using a rigid/stiff blade with rubbers like sriver combo is perfect. It gives you control and a bit of punch in your blocking, and I too like that feeling. Normally, some of us try other players blade and try and get the feel first, unless you're...
  19. I need help with my blade

From what I know, it's quite a rigid blade that ought to go well with your Srivers. I think it's an allround blade, and quite light. I should think it's okay. I mean, if you're familiar with it, go for it. It's best to listen to yourself 1st, while taking into account feedbacks from others.
