  1. Dragutin Surbek 1946-2018

Very sad. Thanks for letting us know. My condolences. One of my friends was his teammate for a while. They used to play for the same team in Esslingen.
  2. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I've already replied to your other post with the same question. Didn't you see it or just didn't like what i wrote?
  3. World Cup. Who you got?

There is a saying over here, that goes a little something like this: TableTennis players only play football for warm-up. [Meaning: football is too trivial for TT-players]
  4. TT in Germany

Hi there. When will you be there? I had a friend who used to play for Reutlingen a while ago. That is a little outside of Stuttgart, but there are quite a few Clubs in Stuttgart too. Maybe keep in mind that the TT season is over and it's Summer break. Since many clubs practice in school...
  5. Hitler Reacts to ITTF's Game-Changing Announcement

Brave move, calling Ali an idiot. Surely will make you a lotta friends, but actually not much different to your other funny comments. :)
  6. Hitler Reacts to ITTF's Game-Changing Announcement

Maybe to someone like you, if you ignore the Muhammad Ali example, but luckily not everyone is you, so i wouldn't generalize your opinion. Also there's always something bigger. Some people even might prefer representing their continent or their town instead of their nation. You make...
  7. Impact of the plastic ball on the game

I think it depends much on the ball. A brandnew ABS ball will stop over the table and makes relooping more difficult, but a slick G40+ just carries too little spin. Took some time to not make my dropshots go long.
  8. lighter offensive setup

As ttpshot wrote in another thread you could also look out for japanese blades. I have a few that are very light (mostly around 78g, but the lightest weighs a little less than 60g) The weight allows to accelerate very fast repeatedly.
  9. Xu Xin's Equipment

Will it really be named 'coming soon' or will the name be different? [Emoji6]
  10. J.Rosskopf Serve Clinic WVC 2018(how to practice service and diss on EmratThich)

Hahaha. Nice catch, Konrad. Very insightful. Glad Rossi allowed this to be recorded. Excellent! [Emoji2]
  11. Olympic Day - Ding Ning & Ryu Seung Min doubles partners!

Very nice. Where was this? I've seen Ryu Seung Min' s lightning fast footwork the last time live on his last match for Ochsenhausen in Frankfurt five years ago. It also would be nice to know if they plan to have multinational doubles at the olympics or if this was just for this promotional event.
  12. Hitler Reacts to ITTF's Game-Changing Announcement

Your reasoning ain't that bad, but IMHO in a 21 game a good server will have a too big advantage over a not so good server. And even though i admire skillful serving i do prefer watching powerful athletic rallies rather than just watching magic tricks by conjurers. So I'm quite fine with the...
  13. Can't find any store that sells 729 Battle 1 red color

No worries. Glad i could be helpful.
  14. Can't find any store that sells 729 Battle 1 red color

A German website that's known for importing chinese rubbers is selling them, both colours available. http://www.ttdd.de/Friendship2.html
  15. Impact of the plastic ball on the game

Brilliant,Ilia. Thanks for sharing. Are you just trolling or asking seriously? Frau Eva Jeler is on the German National coaching staff for more than THREE decades and definitely knows what she's talking about! There's an interview with the only German Tabletennis magazine and that also was...
  16. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Welcome to the forum, haponi. There are a few members from your country on this forum. Hopefully they'll read this and reply. Have a good time while here
