What a guy. [Emoji15] A well of inspiration
  2. Hello from Wiesbaden, Germany!

Hahaha [Emoji2] Thanks for the kind words. But meeting you has been a blessing, too. Hopefully i'll soon make it to visit David and his fam and return the favour. Hahaha. Understood. Won't do it again. [Emoji2] Your memory of Wiesbaden is excellent. Great. Just saw that you also answered my...

  4. problems with control

Haha. This is brilliant. Thanks Bernd. [Emoji2]
  5. H3neo vs H3 tackiness

Not exactly. H3neo's topsheet seems a bit more fragile and delicate than the old topsheet of H3 (regular/non-neo) which seems to be close to indestructable. I have a now nearly 3year old H3. Its topsheet looks almost brandnew compared to my 3months old H3neo which looks as if i've put out a...

Ok, this might become a longer post. Mightaswell get yourself a cup 'o tea first. [Emoji2] Well there are already japanese and chinese coaches here. Afaik Fulda's coach is Meng QingYu. His son Meng FanBo is also a promising talent. Frickenhausen's coach is Qiu JianXin. His sons Qiu Dang and...
  7. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Anytime buddy, as Loopadoop has already pointed out: if your blade is varnished there's no need to worry. If not: you've got 99 problems but residue ain't one. [Emoji6] No matter if he's used wbg or rubber cement. After you've removed the easy parts just pour a tiny drop on the residue spot...
  8. Training with music

    Thank you
  9. optimal weight for penhold?

Is your edge tape made out of lead? Regular edge tape shouldn't make more than a few grams.
  10. Training with music

I don't think this is a yes or no question. I think it really depends what one is working on. For warming up like sidesteps, running and such but also for repetitive footwork drills music can be quite helpful. It can help to learn 'how to dance towards the ball'. Then there are drills like...
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I see. My post actually was directed towards 42&bp (as you've probably already noticed from my quote) But nevertheless: If the blade is varnished it shouldn't be a problem. If not use less oil, rub more and let it dry afterwards. But residue on the blade is much easier to remove than on the rubber.
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I've already used baby oil, sunflower oil and paraffine. Each has worked well. But just a few drops should be enough. Rub "em gently into the sponge and give it a minute to work. The residue starts coming off while gently rubbing already. Give it a try. Works well. Found out accidentally when i...
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Sorry to hear that. Next time try pouring a drop of oil first. Wait a minute to let it react and then see how it comes off with ease.
  14. Tibhar grip-s or grip-s europe

Well, i've tried both rubbers and to me the BD has about 75% - 90% of the performance of a well boosted National H3neo. In a topspin-topspin rally the H3Neo gives me somehow more security and stability and hence more confidence. The BD's quality is still varying too much IMHO. I had one sheet...
  15. Best Yasaka rubbers?!

Even boosted it's still amazing. It's just that the ball behaves differently than a 38mm cellball would.
  16. World Team Cup 2018

According to an interview with German Teamcoach Jörg Rosskopf and tischtennis.de Timo Boll will NOT attend but Dima and Franz (fyi: Patrick Franziska not Peter Franz) will play. http://www.tischtennis.de/news/interview-joerg-rosskopf.html
  17. problems with control

I think after switching from an Off+ blade you should be able to handle 2.0 Otherwise you might feel too much turtle power and might fall asleep after each shot. [Emoji6]
  18. LF: Darker 7p.2a.7t blade

Well, if you can't find a used one the Nittaku Septear has the same composition but is less expensive.
  19. Best way of perfecting footwork?
